Hi, I’m Emily! 🐾

I’ve always had a genuine love and care for animals and tend to treat them like part of the family. I absolutely love being around animals of all kinds and have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, turtles, chickens, lizards, birds, frogs, snakes and even cattle!

I currently have a Kelpie cross of my own, and previously had a Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler cross, so I’m very comfortable around active, energetic dogs. I’d also love to own a Rottweiler one day — they’re one of my favourite breeds!

I’m fairly active and genuinely enjoy taking dogs out for walks and adventures. Whether your dog prefers a relaxed 10-minute stroll or could happily walk for a few hours, I’m more than happy to work around their individual energy level and routine. I’m also comfortable running with dogs and have experience walking multiple dogs and managing them around other people and animals.

I’m currently studying, which gives me plenty of flexibility and allows me to work my schedule around the pets I’m caring for. I’m happy to commute to your home; however, I’m unfortunately unable to offer pet sitting from my own home at this stage.

I know how reassuring it is to know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away, so I’m more than happy to send regular photos, videos and updates — as many or as few as you’d like! I’m also happy to follow any routines, feeding instructions, walking schedules or other requirements you have for your pet.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. When I’m looking after a pet, I’m more than happy to keep them company rather than simply checking in and leaving. I’d want them to feel safe, comfortable and cared for while their person is away.

I’m hoping to eventually work within animal rescue and care, helping animals find loving homes and making sure they receive the best possible care in the meantime.
