My name is Katherine, but you can call me Kathy. My services include dog walking, which may be across the block, along an open park, or down the beachwalk! These may take time between 30 minutes or an hour. I can care for any of your unique pets - birds I'm not scared of, cats don't bother me, dogs I'm not allergic to, all other furry and scaley friends I don't find disturbing. Just name what you have, and everyone gets equal prices - prices will only depend on how many I must take care of. My home has been filled with a Rabbit, a dog, a turtle, all my past pets: mice, budgies, and my current pet: my beautiful lorikeet. Me and my family care for 8 healthy hens, all of our current pets in quality care, in a free-range, loving environment. ❤️ I have a Certificate of Basic Animal Welfare, and as a grown woman in farm and dingo rescue volunteer care, I am absolutely open to learning more, and putting my practical skills to use. A house-sitting experience would include following yours, and only your instructions. If anything were to happen to your furry or scaley friend, I will call you to see what you would like me to do: your pet, your choice. If an emergency were to occur, I will call the closest emergency vet care centre for advice after letting you know what has happened. I will make sure to take care of the house: laundry, cleaning floors, scrubbing, cleaning pet spaces - including litter boxes, giving appropriate meals - I can do grocery shopping as I have experience as a deliverer from Doordash Australia. If your animal needs oral medication, I have been trained on how to do it through my experience with Dingo Den Animal Rescue - simply tilting the head back and using a syringe or a golved hand to insert the liquid/object straight to the throat, pushing the head to tilt up, and stroking the throat until it is swallowed. If there is any technique that you'd rather me do, I am more than happy to comply with your rules. I can supply my own meals, if you can or if you cannot afford someone eating from your own fridge. 24-hour house sitting offers will come out soon (give me a shout if you'd like that by mid-late November when I'll be more available) - I am a full-time university student (until mid-late November), and can do 30 minute tasks such as walking your pet - including taking them to nice, relaxing places via driving (I have my Provisional Driver's License). I will always respect you - their owner - and your boundaries, and your loved animal. The expected duration of the tasks will be roughly 30 minutes as of now. Once I have more free time, the tasks all up can add up to 24 hours, that is your choice!
