Hi, I’m Bertie! I’m a dog-loving, reliable and caring person with years of experience looking after family and friends’ dogs, as well as doing casual pet sitting. I’ve always loved being around dogs and really enjoy getting them out for a walk, playing with them and making sure they’re happy and comfortable.

My standard walks and home visits are around 30 minutes, but I’m happy to arrange longer walks or visits if your pet would benefit from some extra time. I’ll work around your dog’s normal routine and can take them to suitable local dog parks, walking tracks or the beach depending on their personality and what they enjoy.

During a booked walk or visit, my attention is on your pet and I aim to keep alone time to a minimum. I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding, playtime, walks and plenty of attention.

I also have professional experience working in other people’s homes and gardens, so I understand the importance of treating someone’s home, keys and personal space with the utmost care and responsibility. Any keys or access details will be handled securely and discreetly.

I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities, but I do ask that they are reasonably well behaved and understand basic commands. Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog as I would my own and make sure they get plenty of care, attention and exercise while they’re with me.
