I have 11 years of experience in pet and house sitting across Darwin and Palmerston areras. I enjoy getting to know each pet, as every animal has a unique personality, routine and way of communicating. Creating a calm, safe and trusting environment is always my priority. I ask owners about their pets’ behaviour and preferences so I can adjust my interactions to suit their needs. Importantly I always follow all owner instructions for diet, medication, treats, and routines (feeding, walking, and rest times). Give the pet space when I first arrive—let them come to me when they’re ready. Some dogs are cautious or shy. Send photo updates so owners feel confident their pets are safe. I walk for one hour every morning at 5:30 am and again in the afternoon around 4 pm, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily exercise routine. I work full time (8:00–3:30) and I am always home by 4 pm at the latest to spend the rest of the evening with your pets by walking along the beach (if the owners allow), playing with thier favorite toys, relaxing and watching TV or eating dinner together. I don’t charge much—but I treat every booking with full responsibility, as if it were my full-time job. I take photos of pets and send their daily updates to owners if the owners would like them.
