I work and study Psychology part time and live in Brunswick West with my partner and foster cat Sage; whom we fell in love with and adopted as a kitten last year. 
I grew up on a farm in Far North Queensland and had the delight in growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, chooks, goats, cows - you name it! As you can imagine this gave me loads of hands on experience with a wide range of animal needs and temperaments.
After making the mistake of not realising that pet sitters/catteries would be 'busy' over the holidays - I now know the StReSs in finding a reliable and trustworthy sitter for those times when you are called away from home. If I can be the warm, loving, reliable human to bride the gap between you and your pet - then I've done my job!
I am responsible, genuine and will happily take care of the required feeding, cleaning and changing litter, pats and cuddles, giving medication + daily updates and pics of your precious one/s.

I'm Ronja, a Finnish au-pair living in Melbourne. 

Little bit about me: 
I'm a social, energetic, caring and reliable person! I have experience in childcare and owned pets for my whole life.
Furthermore my family has always had pets ever since I was a baby. I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies and fish. Currently at home waiting for me is a rescued little dog from Romania called Miisu, my sweetheart and whom I miss very much. That's why I would love to meet new dogs and cats to take care of, play and cuddle with. My host family here in Melbourne also has a dog who I adore very much.

My services: 
I'm willing to walk your dogs, dogsit (depending on your needs), take them to the dog park and play with them! I can wash and brush the pets as well. Whatever your furry friends need :) Additionally I'm able to do some housesitting too, for example watering plants, bringing in the mail, feeding the pets and other services to help make your life easier!
My working roster changes every week so communicating your weekly needs for your pets helps me to plan my availability to help you.

I will be visiting Melbourne in January 2024. I'll be working in the Seddon/Footscray area, but am open to other locations as well. My dates are flexible. I'm a high school teacher. My beloved dog, Tassie, passed away in 2019 and I'm a pretty lost without her, especially on my walks! She spent 11 short years with me before she passed on. She was little, but in her prime she went on long hikes with me.
