Hi, I'm Jess.

I've had the pleasure to be part of the Paw Shake community since 2017 and have been pet sitting for over two decades. 

We have recently adopted a little Cavoodle called Leo, he was born Sept 2025. He is a loving and happy boy with heaps of energy. He loves meeting new people and dogs, and can be fairly excited at first. We are still welcoming pets into our home and recognise that a young pup won't be a good fit for everyone, but if your furbaby is young at heart and enjoyes playtime, they could become great playmates.

You can rest assured your dog/s will receive excellent care. We will provide them with plenty of cuddles, walks, playtime, and affection! You’ll find that my husband and I are responsible and respectful pet sitters. We have been on both sides of Pawshake, so we understand how difficult it can be to leave your precious pets while you are away.

I will keep you updated with regular messages about your dog daily, so you’ll know they are in good hands. Being active, I’m more than happy to walk or run with your dog, rain or shine, and I can easily accommodate to your dog's individual needs.

We live in Maribyrnong near the river, a conservation park and an oval, which provides plenty of great walking options. We have a medium-sized dog door and a secure backyard, so your pup can have outside access when needed. We will be devoted to them when we are around. However, I work three days a week, while my husband works full-time, meaning there will be days when both of us are out of the house and your pup will be at home with Leo. It may be best to consider us if your pet is accustomed to their pet parents working and okay to be with another puppy while we are away. Rest assured that your pups will get heaps of attention, love, walks and play when we are around. 

I have looked after over a hundred dogs over the years and have experience with many different breeds, sizes, temperaments, personalities, and medical conditions. Both my husband and I can administer medication if needed and provide extra care for older or fragile pets. I can also assist with basic dog training techniques.
