Servicing: I currently service the Northern Canberra area only. Availability: Because I work full-time, I’m available early mornings and late afternoons/evenings for home visits. About me: Hi, I’m Lani, and I’d love the opportunity to look after your furry loved ones. As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner myself, I know exactly how it feels to leave your pets behind when you’re travelling or busy. Your pets aren’t 'just animals', they’re family and they deserve to be cared for by someone you can trust. I completed my Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2012 and worked part-time in a veterinary practice for a few years, caring for both large and small animals. I’m confident providing basic medical care when needed, and I’ve also volunteered as a wildlife carer, working with exotic and young animals. This experience means I’m comfortable with a wide range of behaviours, needs and personalities. In 2015 I moved into my current career in the Air Force, but animals will always be my passion. I’ve travelled frequently for work, so I fully understand the stress of leaving pets at home, and I’m here to provide peace of mind and a helping hand. My own fur family includes two energetic Border Collies (Elsie & Jasper), one DSH cat (Oscar) and a large Maine Coon (Halle). I’ve also cared for birds, turtles, fish and wildlife in the past, so I’m comfortable with a variety of species. What I offer: • Once or twice daily home visits (15-20min a visit, longer if requested) • Feeding, fresh water and enrichment • Walks for dogs (if required) • Basic medical or special-care routines (if required) • Mail collection, plant watering and bin duties • Regular updates and photos for your reassurance I look forward to meeting you and your pets, wishing you a safe and happy time away!
