Hi, my name is Airan (pronounced Erin). I’m 23 years old and studied Commerce (Finance) at Monash University. I currently work full-time in consulting, where I have a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to work from home on certain days and fit pet care into my day.

Outside of work, I genuinely love spending time with animals. I’ve grown up around pets my whole life and really enjoy caring for them, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I also have experience doing work experience at a local veterinary clinic, and I will be volunteering with wildlife in Africa July, which reflects how passionate I am about animal care. I currently walk and occasionally dog-sit for my neighbours’ dogs.

I’m responsible, reliable, and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet sitting is something I truly enjoy in my spare time because being around animals genuinely makes me happy.

Availability

I’m usually available:

• Weekdays: afternoons (from around 12pm onwards if working from home) and evenings after 5:00pm
• Weekends: very flexible, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Services I Offer

Dog walking

• Walks are typically 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs
• I usually walk dogs around local parks and pet-friendly walking paths in my neighbourhood ( normally along the beach).

Home visits

• Visits are typically 30–60 minutes per visit
• I can feed pets, refresh water, play with them, clean up after them, and provide companionship

House sitting

• I can stay overnight in your home and maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible
• I ensure the home is kept secure by locking doors/windows, following any security instructions you provide, and keeping lights on timers if needed
• Your pet will receive consistent care, attention, and companionship while you’re away

Medication & care

• I am comfortable administering basic oral medication if instructions are clearly provided
• For more specialised medical needs, I’m happy to discuss in advance to ensure I can meet your pet’s requirements safely

About me

I live in a very pet-friendly area with access to parks, walking paths, and quiet residential streets that are ideal for safe dog walking and enrichment. I prefer calm, positive environments where dogs can feel relaxed and enjoy their time outside.

What motivates me as a pet sitter is genuinely the connection and joy animals bring. I find it rewarding to build trust with pets and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away.

My experience includes caring for neighbours’ dogs, informal pet sitting, and exposure to animal care in a veterinary environment, which has helped me become attentive, calm, and confident handling different pet personalities.
