Hey there! 🐾🐶 I’m a 24-year-old animal lover with a huge passion for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities! Having owned six dogs throughout my life, from little dachshunds to larger breeds, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience understanding different temperaments, behaviours and training needs. I’m currently a proud dog mum to two dachshunds, Anastasia and Theodore, and my big rescue boy, Clover! Having dogs of my own has taught me just how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with their furry family members. 🐕 Walks, Training & Experience I’m particularly passionate about dog walking and training! I absolutely love larger breeds and have experience walking both reactive and non-reactive dogs. I understand that every dog is different, and some require extra patience, reassurance and understanding. My big rescue boy Clover enjoys three walks a day, usually ranging from 30 minutes to an hour each! I’m very comfortable handling energetic dogs who require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. However, I also understand that not every dog needs the same amount of exercise, so I’m more than happy to adjust walks to suit their age, fitness level, personality and individual needs. I also love teaching dogs new tricks, practising basic commands and using positive reinforcement to encourage good behaviour. Whether it’s practising their recall, learning to sit and stay, or simply enjoying some enrichment activities, I love keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated! 🏡 My Home & Environment I live in a spacious house with a large backyard, providing plenty of room for dogs to explore, play and relax. I understand how important it is for dogs to have a comfortable environment where they feel safe and secure. I also own a car, allowing me to travel for dog walking, pet sitting and home visits. As I have three dogs of my own, I understand how important proper introductions are when welcoming a new furry friend. I believe in taking things slowly, allowing dogs to become comfortable with one another and respecting their individual boundaries. I would always prioritise a meet-and-greet before welcoming a visiting dog into my home to ensure everyone is comfortable. 💕 My Approach to Pet Sitting Whether your pup is a high-energy adventurer who loves long walks, a playful troublemaker who needs some extra stimulation, or a more nervous dog who prefers a slower approach, I’m always happy to adapt to their individual needs. I believe that consistency is extremely important for dogs, especially when they’re away from their owners. I aim to maintain their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled. My priority is making sure every pet in my care receives plenty of love, attention, exercise and enrichment. I know firsthand how much our animals mean to us, and I promise to treat yours with the same patience, care and affection I give my own. I would absolutely love to meet your furry best friend! 🐾💕
