Hi! I’m Jess, a 33 year-old animal lover based in Ascot Vale. I’m currently studying online which means I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week for dog walking, home visits and house sitting, mornings, afternoons and evenings. I have experience in being a nanny which required me to look after a range of different pets and grew up with rescue dogs and cats. My sister also works at an animal shelter so I've looked after my fair share of foster cats, kittens, pups and dogs to help her out!

I am available all through out the week for pet visits, stays and walks and available for pet visits and walks during the weekends but not pet stays.

I’ve always been a devoted animal lover and currently have a very loved little household of my own, including my whippet puppy Harriet and two rescue cats, Piper and Murphy. Having both cats and a young dog has given me lots of hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, training and energy levels from shy cats who need patience and space, to energetic dogs who need plenty of walking, play and attention! One of my cats need daily medication so I feel comfortable giving medication to your pet if need be.

I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your fur babies! I treat every pet as I would my own and am very happy to follow their normal feeding, walking, toilet and bedtime routines so things feel as familiar as possible while you’re away. I’ll also send regular photo updates because I know how reassuring it is to actually see that your pet is happy and calm.

My service:

For dog walking, I offer walks of around 30 to 60 minutes depending on your dog’s age, fitness and normal routine. I’m happy to walk around your local area or nearby parks and walking trails, and will always follow your preferences re other dogs, busy areas and off-lead parks.

For home visits, I can spend approximately 30 to 60 minutes with your pet, including feeding, changing water, toilet breaks/litter maintenance, playtime, cuddles and companionship. Happy to help out with plant watering, bringing in mail and changing litters over. (applies to house sitting too ☺️)

For house sitting, I can stay overnight in your home. I’ll keep their usual routine as consistent as possible and treat your home with the same care and respect as my own.

I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and following detailed feeding or care instructions.

Most importantly, I genuinely being around cats and dogs. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to do something I enjoy while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are safe, comfortable and getting plenty of love while they’re away.

I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pet can get to know me and we can go through their routine together. I can't wait to meet your fur babies!
