I’m a Rushcutters Bay-based dog walker and sitter covering the Inner East, including Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Darlinghurst, Paddington, Darling Point, Woolloomooloo and nearby suburbs.

I’ve shared my entire life with dogs, they are my world. For the past two decades, that meant three little shadows following my every move:
Maltese Shih Tzu brothers Oscar & Walter, who both lived to the grand old age of 18, and the very special Princess, Miss Charlotte, a beautiful rescued Maltese Jack Russell cross.
Charlotte had a very difficult start in life, but with time, patience, understanding and lots of love, she grew to become the most beautiful, amazingly gentle companion any Dad could have ever asked for. Looking after all of them through their very senior years taught me real patience and taught me how to notice those sometimes very small changes in appetite, mobility, energy and mood that can sometimes be easy to overlook.

I’m a hair stylist who works from home, so I’m around through the day and evening. Your dog will never be left alone in an empty house or garden. I only take one hairdressing client a day and plan walks, breaks, playtime and of course cuddles around that — and if they spend the day with me, don’t be surprised if they come home with a little extra shine or a little fluffier than when they left you.

I deliberately keep numbers low so every dog gets genuine attention, affection and care tailored to them rather than being one of a large group. Walks follow your dog’s pace and needs. Around Rushcutters Bay, that usually means quiet harbourside paths and local parks. Lead walking is the default unless we’ve agreed otherwise after a meet-and-greet.

I prefer 60-minute walks so dogs get proper exercise and time to settle; 30-minute walks are available when a shorter toilet-and-stroll is all that’s needed. Whether your dog is older, a little precious, anxious, or simply does best with calm, consistent handling, that’s the care I enjoy most.

• Drop-in visits for feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, company and a short walk if needed
• Overnight house sitting so your dog can stay in their own home and routine
• Boarding at my place for smaller, house-trained dogs who are happy with a large enclosed balcony, structured walks and quiet evenings

I’m also happy to water plants or bring the mail in as part of a visit. No situation is too difficult — I’m always up for a challenge.

I only take a limited number of dogs so I can give each one the attention they deserve. Send through your dates, suburb and a little about your dog and we can take it from there.
