Hi! I’m Sasha, a lifelong animal lover based in Darlinghurst. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love rather than simply a job I do.

I’ve grown up with pets and currently have my beautiful five-year-old Labrador, Olive, as well as my two cats, Alice and Olivia. Alongside years of caring for my own animals, I have hands-on experience caring for other people’s pets and experience volunteering in animal rescue and welfare.

I’ve cared for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages and energy levels — from puppies and small companion dogs through to Labradors, Staffies, Kelpies, Huskies and other larger or high-energy breeds. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, rescue and rehomed animals, and pets who may be shy, anxious or need some extra patience and reassurance while their family is away.

I’m also genuinely a cat person! Having had cats for many years, I understand that good cat care can look very different from dog care. I’m comfortable respecting their space and routines and letting affection happen on their terms. For cat visits, I can provide feeding and fresh water, litter care, medication where required, play and enrichment, cuddles for cats who want them, and plenty of photo and video updates. I know how important it can be for cats to remain comfortable and settled in their own familiar environment while their owners are away.

What I can offer

🐕 Dog walking
Walks are tailored to your individual dog rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on their age, fitness, energy level and normal routine, this might mean a relaxed sniff-and-explore walk or something more active for a higher-energy dog. Standard walks are at least 30 minutes, with longer walks available by arrangement.

🏡 Home visits & drop-ins
I offer one or two visits per day, with each visit lasting at least 30 minutes. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, litter care, medication, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and companionship. Where appropriate, I can also incorporate a short walk. I’m very happy caring for multi-pet households and following different routines for individual animals.

🐾 Doggy day care
For suitable dogs, I can provide daytime care in my home with companionship, attention, toilet breaks, walks, play and downtime according to their normal routine. I want dogs staying with me to feel comfortable and included rather than simply being “looked after” for the day.

🛏️ Dog boarding
I can also offer overnight care in my home for suitable dogs. My Labrador, Olive, lives with me, so I’ll always discuss your dog’s temperament and needs with you beforehand to make sure the arrangement will be safe and comfortable for everyone. My cats live in their own separate, dog-free area of the home and do not interact with visiting dogs.

🌙 House & pet sitting
I can stay overnight in your home, allowing your pets to remain in their own familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. This includes their usual feeding, walks and/or toilet breaks, play, companionship, evening and morning care, and plenty of attention. I’m also happy to bring in mail, water plants and help keep your home tidy and secure while you’re away.

Extra care & individual needs

I’m comfortable providing constant supervision where arranged, administering oral and injected medications where I have clear instructions and the medication has been prescribed for the pet, and helping with basic grooming such as brushing and routine coat care.

Every animal is different, so I’m very happy to discuss puppies, senior pets, rescue animals, anxious or shy pets, unusual routines and other individual requirements before booking. If an animal has significant behavioural, medical or specialist needs, I’ll always make sure I fully understand them beforehand and that I can provide the right level of care safely.

I care for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and particularly enjoy multi-pet households. I’m based in Darlinghurst and can travel to surrounding areas and elsewhere in Sydney where practical. My availability is flexible across weekdays, weekends, evenings and overnight stays depending on existing bookings.

What you can expect from me 🤍

I know that leaving your pet with someone else can be a big deal. I’m reliable, attentive and very communicative, and I’m more than happy to send plenty of photos and videos throughout the booking so you can see exactly how your pet is doing.

Most importantly, I don't want an animal in my care to simply be fed, walked and ticked off a list. I want to get to know their personality and routine and make sure they feel safe, settled, entertained and genuinely cared for until their person comes home.
