Hi, I’m Mei! I currently work at a pet grooming shop as a receptionist and get to meet lots of different dogs or cat at work. I really like my job and being around they, so I thought I’d try doing some dog walking and pet sitting outside of work too.

I have my own little black cat at home, and my mum has three cavoodle. I help look after them quite a lot too, so I’m pretty used to the usual things like walking them, giving them baths and trimming their nails.

For dog walking, I’m happy to take 3–4 small to medium-sized dogs at a time. I’m used to walking my mum’s three dogs together, so that’s something I’m quite comfortable with. For bigger dogs, I’d prefer to take 1–2 at a time. If they need it, I can also give them a brush or clean their paws after the walk. I usually offer 30-minute walks. I’m mainly available around Caulfield and the surrounding suburbs. There are quite a few parks near me, and there’s also a larger dog park near where I work. If your dog prefers a quieter walk, I’m also happy to take them around quieter local streets instead.

I’m also happy to do home visits for cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I’ve looked after a friend’s guinea pig before, and I’ve had a rabbit myself before, so I’m familiar with them too. I don’t have much experience with birds yet, but if you have a bird that needs looking after, just let me know what they normally need and I’ll do my best.

I’m more than happy to spend time playing with your pets while I’m there too. I’ll also take some photos and send you a little update after my visit, so you can see what they’ve been up to. My availability can change a little depending on my work schedule, so just send me a message and we can work out a time that suits you and your pet.

At the moment, I’m offering dog walking and home visits rather than overnight or house sitting, as I have my own little baby at home.
