Hi, my name is Ivy. I am a reliable and responsible pet carer. (for small dogs only). Since 4 years I have been working from home as an artist, before that I worked 10 years in Aged care.

Last year both of my dogs passed away after 15 years of loving them. We had a little jack russel and mini fox terrier. The house is too empty and quiet and I am looking forward to looking after your dog and give him all the care and cuddles that I would have given my own. I live with my husband (who works as a teacher), in a cottage in West End ,Townsville with a secure fully fenced yard. I have put fences on the side of the house so that your dog can not access the front yard and will not be able to escape if someone leaves the gate open.

Your doggie will sleep Inside our house. Our cottage is an open plan and during the day our back doors are open and garden acces is available all day. 

I work from home and will have lots of time during the day to have a little cuddle and play with your dog. He might be left alone for a couple of hours at a time when shopping or while going to yoga, but no longer then 2-3 hours.

I love taking your dogs for a walk twice a day either along the Strand, Rowe's Bay beach and foreshore or around our suburb in West End.

I will be more then happy to send you daily photos and updates of your beloved doggie for peace of mind.

If you have an anxious or older dog, I will be happy to look after them. My little for terrier was an anxious dog and I understand how stressful it is to leave them in the care of someone else. I will have only one dog at a time, happy to look after more if they are from the same family. 

I also have been looking after dogs from friends and family over the past years. We provide a safe home away from home.. Your dog is welcome.
