Hi, my name is Vanessa!

I am currently living away from home to study and would love to offer your pets some extra love throughout the day, whether that's checking in for a play and feed or going on a short adventure together. 

I especially love training dogs, from sit, stay and spin, to going over jumps, through tunnels and over ramps, including my own Border collie, Honey, at home, where we work together to practice both her agility skills and basic commands.

I am a student at TAFE studying a certificate in Animal Care. I am deeply passionate about treating animals like they are part of the family, and have owned a variety of pets myself including, Dogs, Cats, Birds, Fish, Rabbits, Poultry and Equines. I am familiar with the care of these animals as I have been responsible for each one's unique needs in the past, including feeding, caring for and checking in on my neighbour's cat, dogs and horses. 

Currently, I am offering 30 minute dog walks where your pets and I will go for a relaxing walk together or burn some energy at the dog park. I am also offering 30 min to 1 hour check in where I can make sure your pet is healthy and happy while you're away, ensuring they have food and water, cleaning up after them, and making sure they are safe, offering you peace of mind while away and ensuring you are contacted immediately and they are taken to a vet if there is an emergency. I am available most afternoons, and throughout the day on select days, as well as any time over the weekend. I am happy to give medications to pets if needed. When walking dogs I make sure to let them sniff along the way, and use calling their name or treats to minimise pulling and anxiety as we go, keeping safety at the forefront of every walk especially around other dogs or potential hazards such as roads, keeping a safe distance and watchful attitude. After all that is covered in a visit or walk some play time is in order, while we happily document their cute moments through photos and videos for you.
