My name is Siddhant and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree at RMIT University as an international student from India. I’m excited to apply for the position of a dog walker on Pawshake, as spending time with dogs brings me immense joy and comfort, especially while living away from home.

I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, and I have firsthand experience taking care of dogs, especially large breeds. Back home in India, I had a German Shepherd (GSD) for three years, and we currently have another GSD in the family. I’ve grown up around dogs, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. From daily walks to playtime, feeding, grooming, and just sitting beside them during quiet moments, I truly enjoy every aspect of being around pets.

Walking dogs has always been one of my favorite parts of caring for them. I understand how important it is for a dog to get regular exercise, mental stimulation, and fresh air. I’m patient, gentle, and responsible while walking pets, always ensuring their safety and comfort. Whether it’s a short stroll around the block or a longer walk in the park, I treat each walk as quality time with the dog, giving them my full attention and care.

While I have experience with energetic and playful dogs, I want to politely mention that I do not have experience dealing with highly aggressive pets. I believe every animal deserves understanding and compassion, but for the safety of both the dog and myself, I prefer to work with pets that are friendly, social, or moderately shy, rather than those with aggressive behavior. I hope this sets the right expectations and helps build trust with pet owners.

As a student, I have a flexible schedule during the weekdays and weekends, which allows me to commit time to regular walks or occasional bookings. I’m punctual, dependable, and will always keep pet parents informed with quick updates and photos if requested. I also understand how important it is to follow any special instructions regarding leash habits, preferred walking routes, or specific behavioral cues.

Being far from my own dog has been difficult, but opportunities like this give me a way to stay close to animals while helping others take care of their beloved pets. I would be happy to meet with you and your dog for a brief introduction to ensure comfort on both sides.
