I’ve been a passionate dog lover and carer for nearly 40 years, with extensive experience in walking, training, and providing a safe, loving environment for pets. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my lifelong connection with dogs and my desire to ensure every pet feels happy, secure, and loved while their owners are away.  

I offer a range of personalised services tailored to your dog’s needs, including hosting (a prior visit is always recommended), sitting at my home, 30-minute walks, and 30-minute training sessions. During walks, I use proven techniques to assist and guide your dog, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. My training services focus on positive reinforcement to help your dog learn and thrive.  

I work with dogs of all temperaments and behaviours, including those dealing with leash pulling, reactivity, barking, disobedience, separation anxiety, PTSD, jumping up, and more. My training approach is patient and adaptable, using positive reinforcement, consistency, and clear communication to address specific challenges. I aim to build trust and confidence in your dog while guiding them towards better behaviour in a supportive and non-judgmental way.  

Your dog will become part of our family during their stay. We are a household of adults, two children, and our gentle dog, Cookie and our hens. We also have bush turkeys, possums, birds visitong our garden. I work from home, so your dog will never be left alone for long periods, ensuring constant care and companionship. Our property spans over 800 sqm, featuring a large, fully enclosed garden with grassed areas and decks—perfect for playtime or relaxation. If your dog stays with us for an extended period, we ensure they feel completely at home, incorporating them into our daily family routine. At night, I help dogs settle into crate training, using it as a safe and comfortable space for rest and quiet time during the day when they need it.  

For added peace of mind, I can administer medication if needed and only accept vaccinated pets into my home. Having raised and cared for multiple dogs of different breeds and temperaments, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a positive environment.
