Hi my name is Jo and I am a fit healthy 62 year old. I recently shifted to the Sunshine Coast, I don't work currently and am renting an apartment at the moment so I am not allowed a pet.

I have had the pleasure of having animals all my life and they were always another member of our family. I lost my 12 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback last year and he has left such a hole in my life.

Whenever I went away I would always get someone to come into my home to look after Leo in his own space. He had separation anxiety and being in his home really helped him cope with this. He never spent time in the kennels we just couldn't do that to him. Through doing that I met some beautiful people who cared for my fur baby as if he was their own and also respected my house and belongings.

Availability

I am available anytime for in-house checkups of your furry friends. I’m also available anytime of the day for walks. I am retired soI am also avaliable to Housesit any day of the week!

In addition to basic care, I offer a range of services tailored to meet your pet's unique needs. This includes:

Home Visits

During home visits, I typically stay with your pets for a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. In addition to providing companionship, I am more than happy to water plants and bring in the mail.

Also, we need to make sure your furry (or not so furry) friends get all thier creature comforts, love, affection and exercise while you're away.

Dog Walking

For dog walking services, walks typically last 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your dog's needs and energy levels. We can explore your neighborhood or nearby parks to keep things exciting and engaging for your furry friend.

House Sitting

If you opt for house sitting, I can stay in the owner's home for an extended period, ranging from a few hours to overnight stays. I would take care of your home and ensure the respect and safety of your home, I take security measures seriously and would ensure that any specific security protocols you may have are followed.

You'll recieve regular text and photo updates so you can keep in touch with your pet while you're away.

Medication Administration

I have administered medications to pets before and dealt with human medicine for many years so am familiar with doses and administration.
