Hi there! I love dogs, and how they're each so individual. I'm working part time from home these days, so I'd love to spend time with your dog: walking, playing or just pats and cuddles - whatever they like to do and need.

My husband and I had a big greyhound for almost 10 years, so I have particular experience with hounds, large dogs, rescues, shy/anxious dogs and senior puppers. I can give non-injectable medication, and of course food, water and agreed treats.

We're in a spacious apartment with a lovely terrace; perfect for any size of dog, and the outdoor space means that your dog doesn't need to be accustomed to apartments to be comfortable (easy access for a toilet break). We're a couple of minutes walk to two different parks, and nearby to Merri Creek for bigger adventures. Our area is very pet-friendly. There are no kids or pets living at our place. There are no stairs either. Your dog is able to relax/sleep in any room in the house - there is a dog bed in each one.

Conversely, if you need someone to come to you and take your doggo out for a walk during the day, or check in on them while you're out, I'm happy to do that too. I can offer walks up to an hour long. If your dog(s) is staying the day, they'll be with me the whole time and I can take them out for the walks or activites that are part of their routine. Having previously had a dog for 10 years myself, I can follow your routine/instructions to make sure your dog gets what they need. 

I have been dog sitting and walking friends' and neighbours' dogs for the last few years, so I know how to make dogs feel safe and comfortable with a new person or in a new place.
