Hi! I’m Mariana, a caring and trustworthy pet sitter based in Brunswick East. I have experience looking after both dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, personalities, and needs — from playful, energetic pets to shy or more sensitive ones who need extra patience and calm reassurance.

I cared for my own dog for 18 years, which taught me so much about unconditional love, responsibility, patience, and understanding animals through every stage of life. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can truly trust, and I’ll always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved while you’re away.

I live in a spacious apartment with two rooms and a balcony, giving pets plenty of space to play, rest, and settle in after a walk. The apartment is calm and comfortable, with cosy indoor areas where your pet can relax and feel at home. We’re also right in front of a large oval in Brunswick East, which is perfect for morning walks, gentle strolls, playtime, and relaxing outside away from busy streets.

My typical day with dogs usually starts with a morning walk and some playtime. I currently work part-time in a café with a flexible schedule, so I’m usually only away from home for a few hours at a time. My partner has a different schedule to mine, so when I’m not home, he is often around to keep pets company and make sure they’re not alone for long periods.

During walks, I always pay close attention to your dog’s behaviour, comfort, and body language. I keep dogs on leash unless we are in a safe, designated off-leash area and you have confirmed that they are comfortable and reliable off-leash. I’m careful around streets, other dogs, and busy spaces, and I always make sure walks feel safe and enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

I also love taking dogs on little day trips when suitable for their energy level, personality, and routine. Whether it’s a walk through a park, a relaxed stroll somewhere peaceful, or just some fresh air in a new environment, I always adapt the experience to what your dog enjoys and feels comfortable with.

I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, sleeping, and medication routine as closely as possible. I can also send regular photo updates so you know how they’re going and can feel reassured while you’re away.

In case of emergencies, we have a 24-hour vet clinic nearby/on call, and I always like to keep your pet’s regular vet contact details accessible. I stay calm, act quickly, and will contact you immediately if anything unusual happens.

Whether your pet needs long walks, gentle company, playtime, cuddles, or simply a peaceful place to feel safe, I’ll care for them with patience, attention, and lots of love. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
