Hi!! I'm Mia and I am a reliable and caring pet sitter with a genuine love for all animals. As a student with a driver's license I have access to reliable transport which also supports my flexible availability and full availability during school holidays and most weekends. I currently own 2 rescue cats and I grew up with 2 dogs from when I was 5 until I was 15 years of age. The first dog Shadow, was a black labrador who was full of life and energy, there was never a dull moment with him, whether that was his high-speed walks out into the farm, or his eagerness when it was playtime. On the other hand, Toby, a border collie, was timid during interactions with humans, but energetic when running around with Shadow. Toby was easy to manage on walks and loved cuddles with his humans! This has helped me become comfortable with a variety of personalities and needs, from the shy to the highly energetic and playful. Additionally, always owning rescue cats has helped me understand the range of backgrounds, and behaviours that animals may have, and further taught me how to handle these different behaviours in a way that maintains safety and contentment.

My services and experience include daily feeding, refreshing water, cleaning (litter trays if needed), playtime, companionship, basic grooming and dog walking. Growing up with rescue cats, as well as simply a lot of pets, I was always on the lookout for any sicknesses in which there were a few where routine medicine had to be administered. Although it was not a regular occurrence, I am capable of doing the same for your pet if necessary. I thrive to maintain a comforting, safe and fun environment for the animals whilst their owner is away and I am comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, energy levels, and sizes. Whether this means taking a dog for a 60 minute slow walk, or a 30 minute active, fast paced walk, I simply care that they are getting the love they are used to.

I offer in more detail dog walking from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, drop-in visits, cuddles, playtime, feeding, pet-sitting and consistent photo updates to ensure the owner can stay connected and knows their pet is safe and in loving hands. Drop-in visits can consist of between 1-3 visits per day depending on your pets needs. I currently have school Monday-Friday as I am in my last year of college, but I have countless free periods and days where I start late or finish early. This supports my flexibility for visits and ensures your pet will not be left unattended if they need a more constant companion while you are gone! I am content in caring for up to 3 dogs at any one time, but this can be further discussed upon booking as there are various aspects to consider. During pet-sitting I will follow each pet's routine closely and can adapt to special requirements such as catering to specific feeding schedules. This can be discussed further during bookings!

In emergencies I will stay calm, contact you straight away, and seek emergency veterinary help if necessary. Your pet's safety is my priority and I will always avoid risky environments. I will ensure secure handling on walks, and stay alert at all times.

I understand adversity in animals and I am more than happy to accommodate any behavioural needs, exercise requirements and I will always uphold household rules. I have the patience to handle anxious dogs who need more space or time to build trust, and I am willing to take that time to support you and your pet. I know how important but scary it is to trust someone with your pet, but I assure you I will care for them like one of my own, with respect, love and care.
