Hi, I’m a friendly and reliable pet lover based in Box Hill! 🐾❤️ I’ve recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand and am currently finding my feet here. Unfortunately, I’ve had to leave my beloved Golden Retriever with my parents back home while I get settled, so I’m definitely missing having a furry companion around! I’d love the opportunity to spend time with your pets and give them the same love, care and attention I’d want for my own. 🐶 My experience and approach As a Golden Retriever owner, I understand that pets are family and that every animal has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m patient, caring and happy to take the time to help pets feel comfortable with someone new. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace with plenty of cuddles, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe and at ease. 🚶 Dog walking I’m happy to take your dog for a walk around your local neighbourhood, nearby parks and walking paths. My suggested walk duration is around 30-60 minutes, but I’m happy to discuss your dog’s exercise needs and usual routine beforehand. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding leads, walking routes, pace and interactions with other dogs. 🏡 Home visits and house sitting Whether your pet needs feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime or simply some company while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I can follow your usual feeding schedule, clean up after your pets and make sure they receive plenty of attention. I’m also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your furry family members are doing. For house sitting, I’ll respect your home and follow your instructions carefully. I’ll make sure doors and windows are secured when appropriate, lock up whenever I leave, keep keys safe and never share access details with others. I’ll also let you know promptly if I notice anything unusual or if your pet needs attention. 🗓️ Availability and supervision As I’m currently working, my availability will need to be arranged around my work schedule. I’m happy to discuss suitable times for walks, home visits and house sitting in advance so we can find an arrangement that works for you and your pets. I’ll always be upfront about how long I can be present and whether I’ll need to leave your pet alone during a booking. I understand that some pets need more frequent attention or supervision than others, so we can discuss their individual needs before confirming a booking. ❤️ A little peace of mind I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pets in someone else’s care.
