Hi there :) I am a fierce animal lover who has devoted my career to the animal industry as it has always been my dream to work with and care for animals. I hold a Certificate III in Animal Studies (specialising in Animal Care), I work as a doggy daycare and boarding attendant for the company Kip, and I volunteer once a week at an animal shelter in the cattery of Save-A-Dog Scheme. Providing enrichment for animals has given me so much happiness and fulfilment, and I hope to continue pursuing this kind of work for as long as possible and at any chance I can.I live with an 11 year old Pugalier named Dexter, a 3 year old rescue Tabby cat named Willa, and a 3 year old half ragdoll half calico cat named Sassy. I’ve had pets my whole life and I intend on always surrounding myself with fur babies, as I cannot imagine a life without pets in it. Our animals are our family, I understand just how special and important they are to us all and I always endeavour to care for them as if they are my own. It would be my absolute pleasure to look after your animals and I promise that they will be in the most caring and loving hands! If I were to have your pet/s in my care I would be compassionate, affectionate and perpetually aware, and they will be prioritised as number 1 just as my own pets are. I’m available on weekends depending on my roster, and any week night, I have a rotating work roster (I’m a casual) so I will be available during some weekdays and can occasionally make adjustments if need be :)


Who are we
My name is Sam &amp; my partner Rain &amp; a corgi Oreo. We stay in a standalone house with big backyard. We are both IT geeks, working from home most of the time. We can speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia, basic dog language too 

We are originally from Malaysia, our little one relocated with us from Malaysia to Australia, growing old with us from innocent young puppy to a fussy tough lady . She has just recently completed her chemo session, hoping to have many more years of companionship. 

Our lifestyle
Both me and my partner working from home most of the time. We walked her twice a day, usually around 1-2km each walk. She is extremely friendly with human, a bit shy with larger dogs. She has a sensitive stomach and allergy issue, often required special diet or warm food. 

We are here for furship. We will look after your furiend like ours.

Since childhood, I have always had pets. Dogs, Cats, Turtles and Fish. I started off pet minding here in Australia looking after my friend's dogs and through referrals. This was to fill the craving in my heart to own my very own dog which I am not able to do at this point in time. Pet sitting also allows me to get to know different types of dogs. Every dog is unique its own way and brings me so much joy. &nbsp;
I love looking after them, playing with them and taking them for walks. I have owned and cared for large dogs in the past. However, now I only look after medium to small dogs as it best fits my house. I have a secure fenced backyard. &nbsp;

I offer Day Care and overnight Pet Boarding services. I will ensure your pet is fed, water is provided, taken on walks and is kept clean in general. As a policy I only take one dog so that I can give the best attention and care. Also because I work from home I am able to spend time with your dog. The pet will sleep with me in my bedroom in the provided bedding.&nbsp;
Requirements&nbsp;
Dogs must be fully vaccinated, wormed and have flea treatment.&nbsp;
Meet and Greet is a must before each booking to ensure both parties are happy with the house and I can get to know the dog better. I can assure you that your dog will be well taken care of just like a family member.&nbsp;

Dog minding / Holiday Care (In our home): Our home is a fabulous alternative to boarding kennels or for times when you need to be away from your best friend. Our service is based on a 24 hrs cycle with a grace period of 2 hrs. We offer short or long term stays. Your dog will enjoy a holiday of their own with lots of love, attention, adventurous walks and will be treated as a family member.&nbsp;
It is a requirement that all dogs are fully vaccinated (C5), wormed and flea treated before entering our home. They must also be toilet trained (hygienic environment). This includes disclosure of health issues as well as chewing behaviour.

Well, my love for dogs has been there since the day I was born. I have always been surrounded by dogs my entire life. Now that I have moved here, I had to leave my baby back at home. If there is one thing I have learnt about myself, it is that I love to care for dogs and cats. This is why I'm here on this platform, to make new furry (as well as human!) friends and to have that special bond that I have always craved. I haven't had much experience as a pet sitter but with my personal experiences with caring for dogs, my own as well as those of others, I am confident enough to say that I am really good at it. Apart from that, I don't have any special requests, however, please give me a detailed description about your pets and their habits so I can care for them adequately. Knowing about any quirks will be an added bonus of course. 
I am available for overnights any day of the week. I leave for about 9 hours for work during the day and will spend the rest of the time with the pet. 

I have been Housesitting with my partner in Melbourne fulltime since July, 2023. We have done housesits or different time durations, sometimes 1 month, sometimes 1 week or even 1 day, and different suburbs all across Melbourne. We mainly took care of dogs: puppys, younger energetic doggies, old quiet dogs, some more reactive, nervous or fearful dogs! Some of them required medicines or a certain way of training, with treats or toys, so we are used to dealing with different personalities of the furry ones! We have had many border collies, a kelpie, labradors and retrievers, but also smaller dogs like a King Chevalier, a Malteese, or a dachshund... But we also took care of two rabbits and many cats so far. As our experience shows, we are used to dealing with different environments and older animals as well as puppies, either in apartments or houses, since our love for animals makes us adapt to the different personalities they might present and to the various needs they require.

My Previous Experience:
My journey into the world of pet care began with my involvement in "Boxer Rescue South Africa," a dog rescue organisation close to my heart. I dedicated my time and energy to help match loving families with boxers in need of forever homes As part of this mission, I assisted with meet-and-greet sessions, connecting prospective owners with surrendered boxers. In some instances, my family and I opened our home to foster these wonderful dogs, ensuring they received the love and care they deserved until they found their forever families.
Additionally, I provided companionship and support to senior dogs, stepping in to keep them company when their owners were away. These experiences deepened my understanding of the unique needs and personalities of different pets

My wife and I have a 12-year-old long-haired domestic cat, and we have a deep love for pets. We frequently help our friends take care of their cats and dogs. I am a reliable and caring pet visitor, having grown up with cats as a kid.&nbsp; For a few years there we had bunnies and guinea pigs in the backyard as well.&nbsp; I now own two awesome burmese cats that are happy and healthy.Happy to do in home visits to pat, cuddle, feed, refill water and clean litter trays, to ensure your pets stay calm and safe.
