Even though we don't have a pet of our own, we have a special dog in our lives. His name is Alan and he's my father-in-law's dog. Alan is a 4-year-old blonde Border Collie and whenever he's off in Margaret River we miss him dearly. The only reason we don't have a dog ourselves is because we live in an apartment. But that hasn't stopped me from loving every moment I spend with Alan and other friends' dogs. They are such beautiful and special animals!

Regarding dogs, I have most commonly looked after beagles, King Charles cavaliers, toy poodles, greyhounds, labradors, along with the occasional "mix breed" (every dog seems to have a bit of American staffy in them right?).
