Hello! My name is Amber, I'm located within the South East suburbs and have a passion for all animals, no matter how small or large. I've been surrounded by chickens, turtles, guinie pigs, dogs and cats and occasionally the odd worm farm since birth and am very comfortable around pets. 

I easily read animals body language and can adapt to routines necessary for young/elderly pets aswell as creating a safe space for anxious/shy animals and a fun, playful environment for young energetic pets. I ensure that pets feel connected and comfortable with my presence by providing both energetic play and calm restful time. 

On dog walks I match the energy of the dog wether that be slow and short or fast and long and depending on specific training requirements will get them to sit before crossing and follow other safety protocol. During home visits I am conscious of any instructions left, checking water, letting the pet in and out to use the bathroom aswell as staying aware of the litter. And most importantly provide companionship and company for the pet to feel more comfortable. Regarding overnight care, I ensure your pet is well looked after, ensuring all routine has been kept in place, meals handled, water topped up, pets let in and out for bathroom breaks/litter scoops and safety kept.

I have experience with both dog and cat sitting on overnight stays, dog walking (both long and short) and home visits for feeding.

I'm dedicated to keeping owners in the loop with frequent updates and photos aswell as following any instructions that have been left. I am confident with handling medication aswell as monitoring changes and staying calm in stressful situations. I only care for vaccinated pets and treat every pet with the upmost responsibilty and respect that I would provide my own.
