I offer home visits, dog walks and home-sits.
I’m an animal lover, I grew up with 3 dogs, but am not settled down enough to have my own yet. So I love being a pet aunt and have been pet sitting for around 5 years. I’m experienced with older and sick pets, and have done vet visits and medication, as well as young boisterous pups who need more walks and stimulation. I love a pet snuggle! But equally if yours is a little more independent or timid, I’ll respect the warming up process :)
To me, a home is a haven, so I’m super clean and tidy, and will treat your home with the utmost respect! I work admin support from my laptop part time so I’ll be home with your pets a lot, and take casual retail/hospo shifts part time. And truly, no visitors, I’m an introvert who needs my space!
I live in the outter eastern suburbs of Melbourne, so pet sitting allows me to be closer to the city at times, which I enjoy. 
HOME VISITS AND DOG WALKING:
My availability is generally early morning and nights after work. I can feed your pet, walk dogs (half an hour to 45 mins usually), get the mail in, water plants and any other tasks that might be required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.
I will generally stay an hour depending on what you require. I'll only accept drop in's for the suburb I'm in.
Dog walks are anywhere from 25-45 minutes depending on the needs or limitations of the dog. I'll always act as advised, so if you have a park you would normally take them to or if they like a particular circuit, that's where I'll go. I'm very cautious of off-lead areas until I'm very familiar with your dog, and they're familiar with me. 
HOME SITTING:
I prioritize longer pet sits, as it allows us to be in more of a routine, but am happy to consider shorter sits, especially with repeat clients (and I always love caring for pet friends again - nothing makes me happier than when your dog races to see me or cat comes over for head scratches when they recognise me!)
I'm unable to take sits that are further than 30 mins from the city, and generally only service the eastern, north east and south east suburbs. Any further out and my travel gets too crazy.
I work from home part time in admin, and take casual retail and promo shifts, so while there may be days I'm away 8-9 hours, it's usual that it's only 4-5 hours at a time. I keep a routine of being able to walk dogs in the morning and at night. And feed on a morning/night schedule also. On long term sits, I'll make sure to wash dogs as required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.
I'll of course keep the house immaculate, and water plants, collect mail and tend to all the household things that come up.
I don't invite friends around, if possible I'll park in the driveway for the visual cue that people are home, and I have a strong system for locking up as I leave. Your house security is of utmost importance!
I’m part of a network of Melbourne pet sitters, so if anything comes up that I’m unsure about, there is always support from others with experience. I’ll send you lots of pics while you’re away, as I know you’ll be missing your fur children, and send lots of updates!

I'm Morven, 27 years old from Scotland now living in Melbourne and hope to be hear for the forseeable.
I'm a huge dog lover and have grown up with dogs. My parents have two Bearded Collies, Bran and Nora. I often will look after them when they go on holiday so I have experience looking after more than one dog at a time. I'm comfortable with a variety of tasks including walking, feeding, grooming and playing.
I like both big and small dogs from Labradors to Dachshunds. I really enjoy walking and so having a furry companion to do this with is an added bonus. I'm used to engeretic dogs who require lots of walking. But also happy with dogs who are more placid and enjoy a more relaxed experience.
I understand that dogs require lots of care and attention and play a key part in the household.&nbsp;
Getting the experience to walk and care for dogs will allow me to discover new areas of Melbourne, Victoria.

I am 30 years old and originally from China. I love animals especially dog and cat. 

I am currently living in an apartment in Ringwood, close to fantastic spots like Ringwood lake park, Mullum Mullum park, and other dog-friendly parks. These places are perfect for walks and playful runs.
I WFH 4 days a week, so my time is very flexible. Except for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, I am available on other days. 

Services I offer:
- Pet walking: 30 minutes at least each walk. Up to 4 walks a day. I am happy fo go to your home to pick up dogs.
- 1-2 Home visiting: Usually 30 mins long but can do longer/shorter if need it. I am happy to help water plants and bring in mail.
- House sitting: stay overnight at your house to accompany your pets.

I have been Housesitting with my partner in Melbourne fulltime since July, 2023. We have done housesits or different time durations, sometimes 1 month, sometimes 1 week or even 1 day, and different suburbs all across Melbourne. We mainly took care of dogs: puppys, younger energetic doggies, old quiet dogs, some more reactive, nervous or fearful dogs! Some of them required medicines or a certain way of training, with treats or toys, so we are used to dealing with different personalities of the furry ones! We have had many border collies, a kelpie, labradors and retrievers, but also smaller dogs like a King Chevalier, a Malteese, or a dachshund... But we also took care of two rabbits and many cats so far. As our experience shows, we are used to dealing with different environments and older animals as well as puppies, either in apartments or houses, since our love for animals makes us adapt to the different personalities they might present and to the various needs they require.

We have had chickens, lizards and rats before.Whenever we went away as a family, it was so important to us to find someone we could trust to look after our pets who are a part of our family.Whilst I do not have experience looking after other people's animals, I have direct experience looking after my own animals for close to 40 years and I know that every animal is different and have their own quirks. We currently have a rescue dog (Jessie) and she is extremely anxious and nervous around people she does not know, so I have to support her differently.&nbsp;I am available to visit your house and can be flexible to work with you around keeping feeding and walking routines consistent. I will work with you to plan this out during the initial free intro meeting and if for any reason I can't support work your requirements, I will let you know up front.&nbsp; I realise it is very important that your furry friends feel like their lives and habits are the same.If you need an in-house sitter, I can definitely work with you to look at what your requirements are and put a plan in place, so you feel comfortable.Unfortunately, I do not offer the ability to house your furry family at my place, as Jessie finds it difficult with other animals.&nbsp;I now have more time on my hands and want to give that trust back, so you can go away and feel relaxed that your family of pets are being looked after and you are not stressed about their welfare or whether they are anxious.I will look after your furry friends, like I look after my own. You can relax knowing they are being loved and care for. And importantly you can enjoy that holiday or other important event.

We absolutely loved boarding dogs and cats previously but have since had two little children and our Hungarian Vizsla is now elderly so unfortunately can no longer provide stays at our house for the time being however we are highly experienced in animal care and behavior and would love to walk your dogs and come to your home to feed / love and attend to your animals when you are at work or away. 
We have both owned animals our entire lives, share a beautiful 11.5 year old Vizsla we have raised from a puppy and have years experience of dog boarding and foster care.
