I'm Chiara, I'm in my late 30's and grew up in Sydney and relocated to Newcastle two years ago to be closer to family. I work full time in Marketing for a company based in Sydney, so I have to go into the office 1-2 days a week. Unfortunately that means I can't have pets of my own right now.
I love animals and grew up with two cats and a dog (a bull mastiff). Now I get my pet fix looking after my friends and family's pets when they go away. I've looked after many of my friends' cats as well as my family's dogs - a Staffy, Bull Mastiff and a Groodle.
I enjoy keeping active by walking, running, and going to the gym. I also love catching up with friends, reading, and a good tv series/ movie. 
I'm reliable, responsible and would love to take care of your pet. I'm available weekdays before 8am and after 5:30pm and all day on weekends. I offer:
- Dog walking: 50 minutes walk. I have a car and am located close to Redhead Beach, Dixon Park Reserve, Acacia Avenue Reserve, and Speers Point. Or I can go to a park near you. 
- Home visits: I'll stay for 30 minutes per visit, feeding your pet and playing/ spending time with them. During these visits I'm also happy to collect mail and water any plants. 
- House sitting: for up to 5 days. Longer stays are on a case by case basis.

I have been working as a disability support worker for the past 2 years, and a big part of my workday was taking care of my disabled client's animals. She had 4 dogs, 2 cats, and kept 2 horses at the agistment. I walked her dogs twice daily, played with them, and made sure they were washed and dried whenever needed. I cleaned out the cats' litter boxes every day, brushed their fur, and made sure all the pets were always fed and had water. My client was an ex veterinarian so I observed her giving her pets their medications and quickly learned to do it myself. I also spent a considerable amount of time taking care of her 2 horses - I washed them, groomed them, cleaned out their stables, and fed them.&nbsp;
Rest assured that your pets will receive the best treatment when you leave them with me - I will walk them at your local park for as long as needed, play with them, feed them, empty litter boxes, and make sure they're clean, warm, and happy!&nbsp;
I thoroughly enjoy spending time with animals and think that they are such gentle and smart creatures. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets! ;)
