" I recently had the pleasure of having Dyan take care of my home and my beloved cat while I was away, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Dyan was professional, reliable, and incredibly attentive. My cat, who is usually quite shy, immediately warmed up to Dyan, which speaks volumes about her caring nature. She made sure that my cat was well-fed, entertained, and comfortable throughout my time away, sending me regular updates and even some adorable photos, which really put my mind at ease. When I returned home, I found my house just as I had left it—clean, tidy, and well-cared for. Dyan went above and beyond by taking care of little things I hadn't even thought to ask about, like watering the plants and bringing in the mail. I highly recommend Dyan to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring house/pet-sitter. She exceeded all my expectations and took exceptional care of both my home and my fur baby. I will definitely be calling on her again in the future! "

"Anastasia is the world's best dog sitter, we highly recommend her to look after your beloved doggo(s)! Honey our Golden Retriever had the best time with Anastasia it was a weekend full of adventures with plenty of love and attention. When your doggo is in the care of Anastasia you can rest assured that your dog is having the time of its life and being treated with love and care as if your dog is her own. We will definitely be asking her to look after Honey again!"

"I cannot recommend Antonia highly enough! She’s amazing. Mature, thoughtful, and dedicated, she is the perfect person to take care of your pets and home. Our 9year old lab x was so well taken care of, and the plants were in better shape than when we left!!! She handled some difficult roadworks outside our house with grace, left us a clean home, with a happy dog and even home made lentil soup on our return! Will definitely be hoping Antonia is available for any further travel. I almost considered not leaving such a glowing review to make sure she isn’t booked out!!!! 🤣 Book her in, while you can. Your pets will thank you! "

"Kate was a great sitter for our two pups that can be a handful if you're not aware of dog behaviours. She was professional and tactful with the dogs when we had our first meet & greet. I've had other dog sitters let the dogs jump all over them. I've got a Staffy and a Kelpie cross...not breeds that you should let jump all over you! She also did a wonderful job caring for the house. Kate is trustworthy, and I'd recommend her for your dog sitting needs."

"Gabby was easy to communicate with and very friendly from start to finish. We were very comfortable leaving her in charge of our house and 6yo Greyhound for 17 nights when we went on holidays. Gabby sent regular messages and photos which showed that our dog was in good hands and comfortable with his dog sitter. When we arrived home both house and dog were in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gabby's services to my friends and family. "

Pawshake also offers house sitting in

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Thornbury VIC home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Thornbury VIC.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Thornbury VIC home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Thornbury VIC on Pawshake. Over 6691 pet owners in Thornbury VIC have left a review, with an average of 4.96/5. All paid safely using Visa, Mastercard, American Express
