About me
I'm a 38 year old Human Resources manager, living in Salisbury. 
I'm a cat person, here to serve all your cat-person needs. As a frequent traveller myself, I know how hard it can be to find the perfect sitter, and particularly so if you're pets aren't dogs! 
I work a four day week, and wfh two days a week. Because of my own menagerie of pets, I'm available to do daily visits and short stays only. I'm unable to host additional pets here, and prefer to keep overnight stays at owners houses to a few days only. 

My experience
I'm an experienced pet companion, with 19 years of cat, duck, and fish experience and 12 years with chickens. 
I'm especially experienced with older cats with medical needs, having two of my own. I'm comfortable and experienced giving oral, topical, inhaled and subcutaneous medications to cats, oral and topical medications to chickens and ducks, and dispersed medications to fish.
In addition to experience with my own pets, I've also pet sat for friends and family for a range of companions: fish, cats, dogs, parrots and horses, to name a few! 
I grew up keeping and riding horses, and worked as a stable hand for a few years in my uni days too. 

My pets
I have two beautiful older cats who I've had since they were kittens- Poppy who is 18, and Suzi who is 14. Both have medical conditions and special dietary needs, and so I am very experienced with giving cats medication (oral, topical, inhaled, and subcutaneous injections).
I also have a mixed flock of chickens and ducks, and have kept birdos for over 18 years. I fully understand the way of the chicken owner, and appreciate each bird's unique personality and needs. I'm experienced with handling poultry and giving oral and topical medication. 
I'm also an experienced fish keeper. I currently keep one display tank of tropicals, but have previously kept multiple tanks, including breeding. I'm happy to do tank maintenance including water changes, and am comfortable treating most basic fish illnesses. 

My services
During a booking, I'll come hang out with your pets as long as they need. Visits are a minimum of 45 minutes, and include feeding, any medications required, cleaning litter trays, cuddles and play as desired (everyone's different, and some cats prefer space to themselves). 
If you have poultry, I'm happy to put them to bed and let them out, hand feed any special snacks or give medication, change food and water, and collect any eggs. 
I'm also happy to bring in mail, take out bins, water plants, turn lights on or off and other small tasks as required. 

Hi I'm Amanda and my daughter who is 16 years old, Katelyn is wanting to get more experience with other peoples animals, to build up her resume to start her career with animals which she is hoping to study further in the coming months.&nbsp;We have 3 dogs (30-50kgs) and 3 cats. Which katelyn feeds and walks and likes to give cuddles with.Katelyn does Handling with happy paws Happy hearts that works with RSPCA has been doing this for 6 months. This includes correctly putting harnesses on and off the dog, bathing guinea pig, and dogs, making enrichment toys, and feeding animals. About me:
I am a 32 year old trustworthy educated person with a great amount of experience with animals. I was brought up in an animal loving family and have had all sorts of pets my whole life, from little mice to giant dogs. My love for animals motivated me to become a pet sitter although I am an engineer. I would love to deticate my time and energy to animals and take the best care of them I can. I am a certified pet sitter and I do have a police check record.
About your fur babies:
I would prefer to do a free meet and greet before accepting your pets to make sure they are happy with me. I would only look after pets that are vaccinated, flea treated and toilet trained. No contagious disease please. I would like to know about their special diet, health condition, medication, behavior and needs to make sure I do the right thing for them :). 
About house visits:
I go to your house while you are away, feed your pets, change their water so it is fresh, play with them for 15-20 minutes, give them lots of cuddles, clean their litter if they are cats and let them out to do their business if they are dogs. I can also take them for walks for an extra charge. I will also check your mailbox. I will send you daily photos for sure via the pawshake app. I'll do a quick security check to make sure everything is okay at your place. Please note I only cover Jindalee, Jamboree heights, Mount Ommaney, Westlake, River hills and Sumner area.

House sitting:
I am studying at uni at the moment. I may go to uni for a few hours but apart from that, I will stay at your place and look after your pets.

I have been working as a veterinary nurse for 2 years (some of you may recognise me!), as such I am capable to look after any pet. Including those with special medical requirements that may need tablets or injections done at home!

My services range from 1-2 30-45 minute visits to your pet per day where I can feed them, refill water (and water any plants around the house if requested), for dogs I can also organise a 20 minute walk on one of these visits per day. 
I can also provide full time care of your pet in your own home outside of my working hours (work 8-6, 4 days per week, this would also include a walk for your pet and any small jobs around your home such as watering plants or bringing in mail. Hello my name is James and I am a lover of all creatures but humans and dogs are my favourite and I haven’t met a dog that didn’t like me even guard dogs let me in  but really I am just dog in human form and they feed off my energy of fun freedom and pack hierarchy of command and I in return feed off their energy like a vicious circle of love and training both physically and behaviourally returning dogs better than they were left 9 times outta 10  

I own a stafsky Lola half American Staffordshire and half Siberian husky who is in IGP training (police dog agility sport) and has nothing but good praise from all who meet her and same with me and any dog I meet and after Lola’s 200+ different dogs and easily over 1000 different people encounters I’ve never had a bad or uncontrolled situation that resulted in any harm or unhappy persons or pets and if I had a dollar for every random pets owner that has stated “my dog doesn’t play with others well or my dog attacks others” and I’ve asked for 2 minutes to change thier mind and have done so with them ecstatic from the interaction then I could buy Lola a solid gold collar so much so I’ve been nicknamed “the dog whisperer” by the locals at the dog parks

For dogwalking services, my walks range can range from 20 minutes for older pups or hot days to over an hour if your pet has lots of energy - I like to know what you and your pet is comfortable with and will stick to that. For services like visiting and sitting, I always like to go a walk with them, whether its long or short I think its important to get them moving or playing. Specifically for visits, I usually like to stay with pets for 30 minutes - 1 hour (can be longer if required) and during this time I will give your pet some tender loving care, water will be refilled, food can be given, messes will be cleaned up and I can even water plants if required. I am also able to administer medication if needed, I just ask for some instructions and things to be aware of before doing so. For sitting services, I can stay in the house for as long as required and will always stay vigilant with home security measures like not answering the door to stranger, keeping doors/windows and other openings locked (especially for overnight bookings), alarm systems and security cameras if required.
I want to put pet parents' minds at ease, treating homes with respect as well as sending text, photo and video updates and providing post-care follow-ups with notes on behaviours, moods, activities, and more.&nbsp;

I cater to mostly small to medium sized dog however can also handle larger dogs once introduced. I am happy to take your dogs on a 30 min-1 hour walk.
I live in Belmore, and I also work around Alexandria so I can walk dogs in any of these locations depending on time and day. I am also very flexible.
I have had experience with many different types of dogs breeds and sizes over the years. I have also owned and lived with three dogs myself - one a fun energetic jack russel, more recently a fostered 8 year old Jack Russell terrier, a warm hearted and happy Maltese who was with me for 20 glorious years. Wow it has been awhile since I have been on pawshake, I stepped aside from this account but I am back. I had a really good reputation in my last neighbourhood and I want to do the same in my new area.&nbsp;
A lot has change. my beloved dogs Bro and Angie who is shown in the photos have now passed. Angie who I met on Pawshake, her last owner was going to take her into the pound. however I rescued her, she sadly past last year from Cancer and Bro who was raised throughout my childhood has sadly past this year from old age.&nbsp;
Aside from my beloved dogs, I have a son who is 1 years old, we live in Hope Island, apartment living and I run my own online business from home and have two pop up markets in Gold Coast and in Brisbane. My business launched mid this year and it has been steady.&nbsp;
I have returned to helping owners with their furry legs for obvious reasons extra stream of income and because I have a lot of love for dogs. My son loves dogs and with apartment living having a dog of our own is too challenging.&nbsp;
