My name is Eliza and i am 49 years old. I have always loved spending time with animals since i can remember. I grew up with sheep, horses,&nbsp; budgies, dogs, cats, a bunny and even a wild pig came to visit for a while.&nbsp; I have trained half a dozen of my own pets since i was 7 years old  I have a fair amount of experience with many breeds of dogs and puppies. My pet care journey began in 2019, while I was still living in Argentina. I started as a homestay dog care sitter, initially working through an app called DOGHERO. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and the app ceased its operations in Argentina I decided to venture out on my own.
I sent out a brochure to reconnect with my previous clients and promote my services. Since then, I've had the pleasure of serving more than 15 regular clients, many of whom have referred me to their friends and family. My commitment to providing a loving and safe environment for dogs has earned me their trust.
During their stay, most of the dogs were not just guests but cherished members of my household, often sharing my bed. I treat them as if they were my own, ensuring their comfort and happiness. Living near a spacious park, I frequently took them for enjoyable walks and playtime.
In 2023, my journey continued in Sydney, where I resumed dog sitting. I had the privilege of caring for two wonderful dogs until my departure from the city. I embarked on my first house and pet-sitting adventure in April through Trusted Housesitters, which lasted 18 days. During this time, I cared for the most adorable chihuahuas, and grew deeply attached to them. I also took great care of the plants and vegetable garden, along with tending to the chooks.
Following this experience, I journeyed to Boonah, QLD, and secured another house and pet-sitting opportunity through Facebook. My responsibilities included looking after a beautiful Australian Shepherd and the house connected to the Lake Moogerah Cafe for two months. I also worked as a volunteer in Iron Bark Dog park, where I joined the dogs on the dog bus to the dog park where we played with and trained them, an absolutely dream job and the happiest I've been in. As I continue to explore Australia, my mission is not only to discover new places but also to connect with local people while providing love and care to their beloved pets.

I work full time for a National wholesale health product distributor, but as the start to my working day is early, it ends at 3pm giving me time in the afternoons and weekends for plenty of love and attention to your pets and home.

I am very much a home-body, so will be a constant presence at your property for security purposes and will be a reassuring friend to your animal family - providing them with all of the care, company and attention that they deserve.
While you are away, you can rest assured that no one will have access to your home, property or animals other than me.  ANIMALS:
Animals have been a constant presence in my life from childhood and I cannot imagine a fulfilling life without them. I feel that I have a great natural affinity with animals.. hopefully the feeling's mutual!
I have always had dogs, cats and while my three, (now adult), children were growing up, of course we had the usual parade of chooks, ducks, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, birds, horses, donkeys and fish.. pet rats even! I have had my own horses from a young age, with the odd break here and there when life (children!) got in the way. Having been given two orphaned lambs to raise in recent years, I have discovered what a joy that they too can be as pets! I'm confident and happy to care for pretty much any combination of animal friends 

 HOME:&nbsp;
My own home-owning history extends for roughly 25 years. I have always taken great pride and pleasure in caring for and improving my homes to the greatest extent that I can. I am very house-proud, possess great attention to detail and am exceptionally conscientious in carrying out the care of client's homes. I love watering and tending to plants, pools and gardens. Your home and surrounds will be treated with great care and respect. Though now not as young as I'd like to be, I am still very capable 

 POPPY THE PET SITTER:
Poppy is *sort of* a dog, (a Chihuahua x ??), although I don't believe that she thinks she's a dog at all! Pop weighs in at a modest 4 kg! She is eleven years old now, and has always lived with other animals of all varieties, shapes and sizes. She has never been anything other than gentle, friendly and accommodating to all. Poppy is timid and apprehensive at first with dogs she doesn't know. Once settled however, she is fine. She is 100% 'cat friendly' and, in fact, gives them a very wide berth ha-ha! Pop is completely house-trained, desexed and kept up to date with all of her vaccinations and worming. I carry her medical records with us should anyone need reassurance.

I have created a Facebook page and website for our sitting, as I thought it'd be a nice way to keep a record of all of the beautiful animal friends that we make during our travels. - If your dogs/cats are accustomed to sleeping on the bed with you, that's no problem. The more, the merrier! :)
- I travel in my Hyundai Santa Fe SUV Wagon and am happy to chauffeur doggos to their usual outings should they have any and, of course, for any unanticipated veterinary attention.
 LIMITATIONS:
- I do not pet/home sit while there is any other individual sleeping in the home.
- We are not able to look after dogs that have aggressive tendencies.&nbsp;
 RE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
I travel with my own bed linen, pillow and doona, so there's no need to make up a bed for me. I can do that when I arrive. (Poppy brings her own bed too). My aim is to not create any extra work for you

I look after friends and family cats quite a lot.&nbsp;My husband Jochen and I, we live in a queenslander house. We also foster cats from time to time when we have the time and space. We have bern fostering for many years.&nbsp;We have 3 large bedrooms. 1 room is for hosting cat. Your cat is free to roam around our house or enjoy the privacy of 12sqm of private room. The room has a big window overlooking our vege patch. We only take cat/s from 1 household at a time. So you can be sure that your cat will be well looked after and get lots of cuddles. You will get daily photos update, unless you prefer not to. The hosting fee includes standard supermarket brand food, treats, litter and toys. If your cat have a special food dietry requirement, please bring the food during drop off.&nbsp;We are offering our service to look after your cat/s either over night at your place, day visit or boarding at our place.
