We have dogs in Indonesia, and unfortunately, we cannot bring them to Canberra. Also, we cannot have our own dog here as we live in a shared house with other residents. Experience: I grew up with guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs, and cats. I also adopted several old higher needs arctic dogs for years, so I have experience with large dogs.&nbsp;Motivation: I am not currently able to have cats or dogs in my current home, and really miss having them around, so pet sitting is a great way to meet and get to know some lovely fur babies and look after them.Method: I let animals interact with me on their own terms, so if they're cuddly and affectionate they get as much affection as they want, if they just want to stare at me from across the room while I sing silly songs with their name in it, that's also fine. Also cats that tend to be timid often become comfortable with me very quickly, I let them decide how and when they want to interact with me.Currently I'm offering overnight pet sitting services for short and extended stays, which means I can offer your pets as much attention, play, and positive reinforcement as they need while you're away.&nbsp;Services: I will feed, water, administer medication and clean up after your pets. My parents have a British Bulldog who I take care of on a regular basis, he is extremely spoilt (massages, treats, walks, gourmet food, cuddles, tucking him in at night etc). He has breathing issues and requires extra care such as hes wrinkles being wiped, special creams, medication and his bum being cleaned etc. So I'm more than happy to cater to similar requirements for your pet.

Hello! I am Pranami, a PhD scholar studying marine bacteria at ANU, Canberra. I have recently moved to Australia and I am experienced in taking care of kittens, puppies and older cats and dogs, of all sizes, big and small and also bunnies. I can give baths, trim nails, clean ears, if and when needed. I love teaching tricks to dogs, both indoor and outdoor and also love playing with them. I especially like playing seek with my dogs (I have 3, one German Shepherd and two Indian rescues), where they would be seeking me or any of their favorite toys. It's an easy indoor game to teach and dogs love it once they get the hang of it. As for cats, I know they love their "me-time" and I give them what they need. With my cats, they've always been cuddlers, so I usually would walk around or sit with them on my lap. One of my recent cats loved to show affection by play-biting. And that's pretty much all she would do when we hang out. I make some DIY string toys for them to play with and that keeps them occupied for most of the time. I can also give medicines to both dogs and cats.
I am experienced with pet sitting in different places around the world like California, Beijing, Bangalore, to name a few. I update my clients with photos/videos or calls if they prefer that, atleast twice a day. Pet sitting for me is more out of my ardent love of animals rather than just a job. Due to my flexible schedule, I am available any time of the day, all days a week to look after your furry friends while you are away. Spending quality time with animals for me is more like a therapy and I absolutely love doing that.

After moving out of home for uni I desperately miss the companionship of animals, and would love the opportunity to walk/overnight sit dogs to fill this missing void. I will care for your pets with as much love and care as you will. As I live by myself, I can stay overnight with your pet without issues and have my own vehicle for emergencies. I have previous dog and house sitting experience for dogs and cats in Canberra, mostly for friends.

I'll be able to stay over night with your dog. I have a full- time job so I'll be away between work hours at least two days of the week. Most days I can be a bit more flexible and be there during work hours. 
If provided the right instructions, I can administer basic medication to your dog and give the dog a wash.
