We are a newly engaged couple who are currently building a tiny home, and in the meantime are seeking to house sit for others so we can help others whilst we await our home to be built. (2 birds with 1 stone) We are dog lovers who for the first time do not have pets as we are in between houses, So we would LOVE as much pet time as possible.&nbsp;
We are kind, respectful, clean, and warm and would love to connect if it aligns with your dates.&nbsp;

Thomas grew up on a large agricultural property in country Victoria working with many types of animals and large machinery, he now works in animal management with the local council. Katie has 8 years of nursing background and now teaches yoga on the coast while she starts a new career in Ayurveda and postpartum doula care.We are very happy for long term stays and can negotiate a cheaper nightly rate&nbsp;

 DETAIL &amp; BACKGROUND:
Mature, responsible and experienced single lady - lover of all creatures great and small  Positive, with a 'can do' attitude and a natural affinity with animals. Quiet-living and respectful of the homes of others.
Firstly, I have to apologise in advance for the length of my profile, but I can't imagine that there is such a thing as 'too much' information when considering relinquishing the care and welfare of your home and animals to a stranger.
I am a very experienced full-time sitter, who has sat a wide variety of animal/home/property scenarios throughout eastern Australia over the past few years.
On a personal level, I am very friendly, reliable, ethical, responsible, practical, capable, honest, extremely compassionate, and I possess a great deal of common sense. I value privacy and that includes respecting yours 
I am very much a home-body, so will be a constant presence at your property for security purposes and will be a reassuring friend to your animal family - providing them with all of the care, company and attention that they deserve.
While you are away, you can rest assured that no one will have access to your home, property or animals other than me. I consider pet/home sitting to be a very serious responsibility and as a 'job' to be done to the best of my ability, therefore I do not socialise or entertain visitors in clients' homes.
I am acutely aware of what an exercise in trust it is to leave that which is closest to most people's hearts, their animals and their home, in the care of a stranger. I am contactable 24/7 and I love to forward regular photos/videos for your peace of mind.
All instructions given re routines, security, household, garden and animal care are followed to the letter. I approach my pet/home sitting with the same professionalism that I always employed throughout my working life and the rewards are immense, I love my sitting! I have had the privilege of spending time/forming relationships with so many precious animals and this has created some treasured memories for me. I've travelled to places that I would never have otherwise seen and I have met some truly wonderful pet/home owners.

 ANIMALS:
Animals have been a constant presence in my life from childhood and I cannot imagine a fulfilling life without them. I feel that I have a great natural affinity with animals.. hopefully the feeling's mutual!
I have always had dogs, cats and while my three, (now adult), children were growing up, of course we had the usual parade of chooks, ducks, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, birds, horses, donkeys and fish.. pet rats even! I have had my own horses from a young age, with the odd break here and there when life (children!) got in the way. Having been given two orphaned lambs to raise in recent years, I have discovered what a joy that they too can be as pets! I'm confident and happy to care for pretty much any combination of animal friends 

 HOME:&nbsp;
My own home-owning history extends for roughly 25 years. I have always taken great pride and pleasure in caring for and improving my homes to the greatest extent that I can. I am very house-proud, possess great attention to detail and am exceptionally conscientious in carrying out the care of client's homes. I love watering and tending to plants, pools and gardens. Your home and surrounds will be treated with great care and respect. Though now not as young as I'd like to be, I am still very capable 

 POPPY THE PET SITTER:
Poppy is *sort of* a dog, (a Chihuahua x ??), although I don't believe that she thinks she's a dog at all! Pop weighs in at a modest 4 kg! She is eleven years old now, and has always lived with other animals of all varieties, shapes and sizes. She has never been anything other than gentle, friendly and accommodating to all. Poppy is timid and apprehensive at first with dogs she doesn't know. Once settled however, she is fine. She is 100% 'cat friendly' and, in fact, gives them a very wide berth ha-ha! Pop is completely house-trained, desexed and kept up to date with all of her vaccinations and worming. I carry her medical records with us should anyone need reassurance.

 WEBSITE &amp; SOCIAL MEDIA:
I have created a Facebook page and website for our sitting, as I thought it'd be a nice way to keep a record of all of the beautiful animal friends that we make during our travels. Visiting our Facebook page is also a fabulous way in which potential clients can gain an even greater 'feel' for Poppy and I.  NOTES 
 RE DOGS/CATS:
- If your dogs/cats are accustomed to sleeping on the bed with you, that's no problem. The more, the merrier! :)
- I travel in my Hyundai Santa Fe SUV Wagon and am happy to chauffeur doggos to their usual outings should they have any and, of course, for any unanticipated veterinary attention.
 LIMITATIONS:
- I do not pet/home sit while there is any other individual sleeping in the home.
- We are not able to look after dogs that have aggressive tendencies.&nbsp;
 RE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
I travel with my own bed linen, pillow and doona, so there's no need to make up a bed for me. I can do that when I arrive. (Poppy brings her own bed too). My aim is to not create any extra work for you

Nothing  I provide my own food, groceries and all other supplies. I consume nothing from the home.

I know the stress and anxiety that comes with having to leave your beloved companion in the hands of someone else. This has been my motivating factor to join this pet loving community. I have previous experience in dog training and have volunteered my time in several animal/wildlife centres, but am now currently studying Ecology, Zoology and Marine Science at university, so taking care of animals and the environment comes second nature to me.&nbsp;
I have lived with dogs my entire life. My family has been privileged to have had beautiful working and family dogs, such as border collies, golden labs and cattle dogs. I am currently the very lucky dog mama to a bright blue-eyed border collie, who I have trained since day dot and who never leaves my side.
I am happy to come and look after your pets in the comfort of their own home. Your dog is welcome to join myself and my dog on twice daily walks and the occasional beach trip. Happy to work with you on your dog's needs to make sure they are happy, safe and healthy while with us.&nbsp;
Willing to provide dog and house sitting at the owners home for any length of time. Additionally, I am happy to provide other services, such as dog walking, doggie daytrips or drop offs when available throughout the day.&nbsp;

I had a jack Russel for 12 years that I miss everyday. 
I am unable to get any pets of my own at this stage due to moving around frequently so I look after and walk others pets to fill the pet shaped hole in my heart. 
I have no official experience but I look after and walk my friends and family's pets often because I enjoy it so much. 
I go for walks everyday anyway so I may as well be lending a hand to anyone who needs their doggies legs stretched.
I prefer to watch the fur babies at the owners house as I have housemates at home and I can ensure they will get all my love and attention as well as anything that needs to be done around the house (tidy up, plants cared for)

Hi I am a cat lover. I cant remember a time in my life that i did not have a cat. I have been around cats all my life. I look after friends and family cats quite a lot.&nbsp;My husband Jochen and I, we live in a queenslander house. We also foster cats from time to time when we have the time and space. We have bern fostering for many years.&nbsp;We have 3 large bedrooms. 1 room is for hosting cat. Your cat is free to roam around our house or enjoy the privacy of 12sqm of private room. The room has a big window overlooking our vege patch. We only take cat/s from 1 household at a time. So you can be sure that your cat will be well looked after and get lots of cuddles. You will get daily photos update, unless you prefer not to. The hosting fee includes standard supermarket brand food, treats, litter and toys. If your cat have a special food dietry requirement, please bring the food during drop off.&nbsp;We are offering our service to look after your cat/s either over night at your place, day visit or boarding at our place.
