"Our family was delighted to meet Marcela to look after our large breed dog and 18yr old cat. Our dog was fond of her as soon as they met.
Marcela firstly arrived at our house for a meet and greet and met us again just before we were leaving for our trip. She organised a park play for our dog to understand his outdoor routine and came back to our house to go over both pets needs for when we were away.
Her communication was daily with photos and videos.
Anything I had missed to explain she covered immediately.
Our family felt an instant trust with Marcela and this was proven by her reliability and her amazing care she took of our pets and house. She gave more than we expected.
Marcela gave us peace of mind to travel far from home and we are so grateful for meeting her.
I highly recommend her services and can not praise her enough.
I will definitely be contacting her for future jobs."

"Zoe was an excellent dog sitter for my two spoilt boys and loved the dogs and gave them good care whilst I was on holiday.
The house was cleaned and all linen and towels washed and every thing when she left was spotless.
I would recommend Zoe to any one wanting a good sitter and reliable and animal lover.

"Christina was amazing! We have never used a pet sitter for our 13 year old dog before but from the first meeting Christina was so great with him!
We got regular photos and messages and he was so comfortable with her. In the 2 weeks we were away it was great to know he was in such great care.
I would highly recommend Christina so anyone who’s looking for a dog sitter, she’s the best! Would 100% book her again. Thank you Christina! "

"Jason spent a couple of weeks house sitting our 3 cats and 1 dog. We're very happy/satisfied with the experience and outcome, our dog Matilda likes him a lot and our cats also got to trust him which is a good indication of care. "We have 3 cats, and they all have extremely different needs and totally different personalities. We had previously had the same pet sitter for over 10 years and this was our first experience of using Pawshake.
We couldn't be happier with Mira. She came to our home prior to the stay to go over the many requirements we had for each cat and just to meet us in general, as I was extremely apprehensive about a new pet sitter that our cats did not know.
One of my cats has extreme anxiety when new people come into our home and she was very accommodating to his needs. I was also worried about them being inside cats and the possibility of them getting out. Mira completely understood this was a major priority for us and was very conscious of ensuring they were kept safe.
Mira sent us photos and updates every day, and after a couple of days of being away my apprehension disappeared and I knew we had made the right choice. They were clearly relaxed and happy. My youngest cat in particular took a real shine to Mira and was besotted with her.
I cannot recommend Mira more highly, she absolutely deserves the 5 stars we have given her. She clearly has an affinity with cats. We will definitely have her come again.

"Yvette is a fantastic cat sitter. She kept in regular contact and sent photos. When my cat was suddenly unwell she contacted me immediately and also called my vet. She was happy to clean up the mess including washing all bedding and the carpet. I highly recommend Yvette - she’s a great cat and house sitter and my cat loved her.

"Mel is a lovely person and me and my dog Smokey adored her from day dot. Mel looked after Smokey in his home for quite an extended period of time(2weeks) and when I returned home he seemed very well cared for and even seems to miss Mel a bit. Mel made the effort to meet up with us on a number of occasions before I went away so as Smokey could become familiar with her, she walked him, made sure he was fed and kept him company. I was nervous about getting a sitter but Mel was great and I would definitely recommend Mel to anyone needing a sitter. "

"I am a rescue foster carer and have 5 rescue Tibetan Spaniels and 1 rescue kitty. Four of the dogs are very traumatised due to their lengthy past of living in cages and without any human interaction, except for in a negative way. Due to this and understanding the challenges of babysitting them, I have not left them before. So, I had much anxiety about leaving them and really not that comfortable with someone coming into my home...but I needed a house-sitter.
I found Mariya after another babysitter on another Pet-sitting site let me down at the Meet and Greet stage (better this than during the house-sit which has happened to me before and also to a friend).
Mariya was (is) amazing. She is a caring, thoughtful, considerate, intelligent, capable and solution-orientated person.
Four of the dogs were manageable with Mariya providing some additional approaches in their best interests, yet all time consuming for her. However, one dog was beyond a challenge. Mariya worked with me (me remotely) for an appropriate approach that supported the dog and and also worked for the others. This really reassured me - both her frankness and the way she eagerly wanted to work through a solution. She was amazing! Another house-sitter would have given up.
I am vegan and have allergies. So, she decided without discussion to bring her own crockery, cutlery, cookware, sheets, towels so as not to contaminate anything of mine. Wow! I've never experienced such care and compassion. It definitely wasn't my expectation for her to do this.
I came home to a clean house, as clean as I left it and I'm a clean freak. I also came home to very happy babies. It was wonderful and reassuring.
OK - only negative... my kitty and one of the dogs have issued me with their Vacate Notices. They've decided to shift in with Mariya!! She was that loved by them and by all (and this was evident in the photos, clips she updated me with regularly).
I am unsure if Pawshake allow this, but would be happy for anyone considering Mariya to contact me for more information.
I feel I have not only found an amazing house-sitter, but also found a new wonderful friend.

"Midori house and dog sat for us and I couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. She was great with my dog who took to her straight away. She was very contentious sending photos/updates everyday and asking questions to check on my dogs habits and that everything was fine. The house was pristine when we got home.
