My name is Nikita, I have owned dogs and cats my entire life and have owned birds for a large portion of my life. I have been doing pet/house sitting since 2020 and have many regular clients. I am based in the Canberra area but travel and location is not an issue, I will travel as far as Sydney and South Coast. I am comfortable looking after just about all pets, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds ect. I have worked at a vet for about 8 months, so I am confident with administering medication of all kinds and noticing if something is not quite right with your furry friend. I have assisted in birth and neonatal care of puppies since I was 14 years old. I am currently working at a dog kennel and cat flats and have been since 2018. I have experience and confidence with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes, breed is not an issue.

I am currently only offering house/pet sitting at your house, dog walking, pet check ins once or twice a day and doggy outings. I do not have a limit of how long you will be requiring my service or a limit on number of pets. Before you book I would prefer to meet you and your pet/pets so we can make sure we all get along.

Having trained my tri-pawd rescue cat to sit and stay for even a juicy steak - shown in the photos - you can rest assured I will provide for your pets needs, and give them loving attention, while reinforcing their good habits.&nbsp;
Weekdays can also include visits with a Kelpie. Unavailable during school holidays, unless arranged under special request. My energetic young charge has successfully socialised with multiple reactive dogs, including a German Shepard and a French Bulldog, who were not able to make any other animal friends previously. She is very patient with little animals, but tough enough to adore rough play.
I have work experience including: at a vet, rescue centre, as a puppy nanny, intensive wound care, first aid training, house/pet sitting, pet boarding, day trips, and of course I love to stop and meet all the neighbourhood dogs.&nbsp;
Types of animals I have had experience with: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, snakes, fish, rabbits, chickens, and the passing acquaintance with a great deal more. No matter your pet, send me a message, I'm sure I'm up for the adventure.

No matter the reason you need to leave home, life is easier, when you know there's someone who can take care of base camp for you. Low stress services, responsible home care, last minute requests welcome whenever calendar is available.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Flexibility is a key feature of my house sitting services; pets can be taken along while running my daily errands, or enjoy quiet time at home; they may like a rough tumble with another dog, or quiet time cuddling with me on the couch; whatever is best for your pet long term, on a day by day evaluation.

I have walked many animals, from a cat, to a Kelpie, to a Newfoundland, and have the balance of patience and firm boundaries to handle any pet walking situation with a calm resolve.

If you would like the "day sitting" option, I would love to have some notice, and take your pet on adventures for the day, so they don’t have to sit inside.
Due to living in an apartment, we are not offering overnight stays at this point, but can be flexible if you have particular requests for your pet’s adventures.

I also spend some of my days with friends (who adoooore pets) and would love to join me on some of these adventures, so if you have a pet in need of infinite cuddles, or lots of play, rest assured they can be spoilt with attention.

As an applicant for a dog walking position, I have extensive experience working with dogs and a deep understanding of their needs. My love for animals started when I was a child, Despite not having any pets of my own I've always had interest and compassion for furry companions.

Up until recently, I had Bailey the beagle. He unfortunately passed away from cancer at age 13. I miss him greatly and hence I have started pet sitting to fill a void. I miss having a pet to spend time with, take on walks and shower in love.

Hi, I'm Aimee! I absolutely adore dogs, and have grown up with our family border collie Dot. After moving out of home for uni I desperately miss the companionship of animals, and would love the opportunity to walk/overnight sit dogs to fill this missing void. Happy to take your special four legged family member on long walks/runs and spoil them with love and pats when you're away or just super busy. Most of my experience comes from my own puppy, or from a few neighbourhood dogs I've briefly looked after and walked (including Boxers, Golden Retrievers and Aussie Shepherds).

I work in the public service and have decided to join Pawshake as a job on the side that will keep me active + brightens my day (which animals do!)I've grown up surrounded by dogs, so I have experience with various breeds - big and small. My parents have a British Bulldog who I take care of on a regular basis, he is extremely spoilt (massages, treats, walks, gourmet food, cuddles, tucking him in at night etc). He has breathing issues and requires extra care such as hes wrinkles being wiped, special creams, medication and his bum being cleaned etc. So I'm more than happy to cater to similar requirements for your pet.
