From a young age, my love for animals has always been a driving force in my life. As a mature-aged student, I made the decision to pursue my passion and enrolled in the veterinary science program at the University of Queensland (Gatton campus). Now, in my fourth year, I can confidently say that I have found my calling.
Before embarking on this journey, I spent close to 15 years working in senior Human Resources and Recruitment roles, including a recent position in the Queensland Government. While I enjoyed my previous career, my heart always yearned for a deeper connection with animals.
As a pet sitter, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my love and care with your furry friends. Whether it's through in-home day visits, overnight stays, or staying on my property I am committed to providing exceptional care for your beloved pets. I have a standalone two-bedroom granny flat with an attached secure cat enclosure where I can accommodate small dogs and cats. This setup allows me to provide separate care for the visiting pets, away from my own cats. Since I don't have any dogs or children, the visiting animals will only interact with adults during their stay.
My experience extends to caring for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, and chickens, but I am open to discussing the possibility of looking after other pets as well. Hello my name is James and I am a lover of all creatures but humans and dogs are my favourite and I haven’t met a dog that didn’t like me even guard dogs let me in  but really I am just dog in human form and they feed off my energy of fun freedom and pack hierarchy of command and I in return feed off their energy like a vicious circle of love and training both physically and behaviourally returning dogs better than they were left 9 times outta 10  

I own a stafsky Lola half American Staffordshire and half Siberian husky who is in IGP training (police dog agility sport) and has nothing but good praise from all who meet her and same with me and any dog I meet and after Lola’s 200+ different dogs and easily over 1000 different people encounters I’ve never had a bad or uncontrolled situation that resulted in any harm or unhappy persons or pets and if I had a dollar for every random pets owner that has stated “my dog doesn’t play with others well or my dog attacks others” and I’ve asked for 2 minutes to change thier mind and have done so with them ecstatic from the interaction then I could buy Lola a solid gold collar so much so I’ve been nicknamed “the dog whisperer” by the locals at the dog parks

I live in Camphill suburb, Queensland and is undertaking my studies as a veterinary student at the University of Queensland starting in 2024 February. I provide my customers the best services in pet sitting at their own house (24 hours, 1/2 visits) and offer pet boarding (24 hour supervision) as well. I am flexible with my customers time preferences for my services. My house is fully secured and is protected my fences and gates and also is known as a safe neighbourhood. I provide dog walking services (10-60 minutes) as well as ensuring pet transport such as picking up and dropping. I am able to board upto 4 pets at the same time. I offer upto 4 dog walks per day. I confirm that I have lived my entire life surrounded by animals which are not limited to dogs and cats and seem to honestly make more meaningful bonds than I make with people. For my work experience, I have experience working at a veterinary hospital for a year and gained much knowledge regarding treatments and handling emergencies if required. I have experience on treatment and is educated on the correct medication if not present by a doctor (I can only proceed with legal treatments to do without professional supervision) . Hi there,. I would love to assist with your dog walking/ sitting requirement.
I have completed a puppy raising program for 9 months for Guide Dogs Australia which I really enjoyed. I raised a black labrador named Fergus. The program included walking him, toilet training, feeding, introducing him to every day life as much as possible, taking him to training twice a month. I have now given Fergus back and would like to assist others with dog walks/ sitting as I love dogs and this was a very rewarding experience for me.
I love dogs. I have grown up with big dogs (German Shepherds and Alaskan Malamutes), and don't have a preference for dog sizes. I would walk my dogs for an hour everyday. I work 8 hours a day from home and the office during the week, so could be flexible with days.
I live in an apartment, pet friendly with a balcony.
The dogs can sleep on my couch or in their own beds. I walk the dogs in the morning and after work, will also take them out to toilet multiple times a day.

I have worked at Mad Dogs for nearly 2 years here in Brisbane! Here I would carry my duties if a Professional dog walking providing safe reliable transport to and from the dog parks. Responsible for providing a safe environment for groups of 4 for all the dogs to play, socialise and relax through interaction and stimulation. Continually monitor behaviour by understanding the dogs body language. Develop and maintain excellence customer service with all clients, build bonds with each dog, follow safety procedures + professional dog photography.
I have also had the pleasure of working for Paws Darwin here My duties include Assistance of care for several rescue animals, feeding, cleaning, redesigning pet rooms, construction of large outdoor cages, assistance in vets operating room etc. During my time with the shelter, I worked dedicatedly and efficiently to ensure a high standard of care for all of the animals, who were awaiting foster care or adoption. My primary responsibilities included cleaning the cages of the animals and personally walking and handling those with challenging behaviours. I felt a real sense of reward when I saw changes in these dogs and their characteristics, largely down to my influence. I was also involved in a large scale reconstruction of the outdoor shelter, building large play areas and assembling spacious cages to improve the housing of the animals.
I have also lived and worked at animal sanctuaries and shelters during my time in Australia, and have massive empathy for any animals not just doggies! I am clean, tidy and respectful to any wishes of the dog owner. happy to help &amp; have the animal company! 
I can also provide a resume and police check for your security. I would need to sit for the dogs at your home as I am currently residing in a shared property. During a house sit/over night stays my primary focus is too care and keep your pups company. So i will be present for the remainder of the time specified by the client unless i need to nip out for Erins.

I started this service because I would like a low-cost place to send my two cats throughout the day where they have constant supervision, love and affection. If your cat loves company and enjoys the company of other cats throughout the day, then this will be perfect for you. I'm home all day so it would be perfect if your cat is lonely during the day and wants lots of love and cat companionship. We have built an outdoor catio which our cats can safely enter or exit at their leisure, we have multiple climbing towers, boxes, scratches and play toys.&nbsp;
We have Bengals that require a lot of excitement and entertainment throughout the day, so your cat wont be bored! Our two boys require a lot of attention. Our boys are fully vaccinated and wormed and are both under 3 years old.
We have never had an issue where our cats haven't gotten along with another cat. However, if this was to happen, we have the ability to cordon off rooms so your cat won't be uncomfortable, however, you may need to find an alternative sitter with pets that your cat gets along with. Because I'm home all day, I also have the ability to provide your cat with special dietary requirements, medication, or anything else that your cat requires throughout the day. I'm a huge animal lover and would love to have you over to see our place and meet our cats before you make any decisions.
