"We were a week out from leaving on an interstate family holiday when our dog sitter (my parents) announced they were off to NZ the same time we would be away….they’d completely forgotten Mochi, our large exuberant Harrier Hound, was going to stay with them while we were away.
Enter Pawshake. Dale was the first and only person we contacted - obviously time was a factor in our case, and her responsiveness, prices, easy going nature, and the fact she knew what she was talking about (plus she said nice things about our doggie!), meant we didn’t need to contact anyone else. (We looked at a few profiles on Pawshake and the number of people, young people, saying they could handle large excitable dogs in their one bedroom “insert trendy inner suburb here” apartment was laughable).
Mochi isn’t yet 2 years old and he’s huge (40 kg and my height -165cm when he stands up on two legs), he is a hound, bred to think a certain way (which is often “I’m doing what I want regardless) and on top of all of this, Mochi just wants to be loved and be around you. He needs someone who is going to give him all the love in the world while not being a pushover.
Dale knew how to respond and interact with Mochi from the start. He came back to us happy, healthy and very tired (we struggle to tire him out so this was brilliant).
Dale has the space, set up, location and knowledge for you to be able to leave your pet with her and not be worried about whether or not you made the right dog sitter decision. She updated us daily with photos of Mochi- it was so heartwarming to see Mochi wasn’t just another dog at their house; he was very much a part of their family and in the mix of it all for the 6 days he was with them.
We will not hesitate to book Dale again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boy! "

"Fika and her family took amazing care of our puppy Max. He seemed so happy with them! They were extremely attentive, caring, and communicated clearly at all times. Fika's house is perfectly set up for dogs, securely fenced with plenty of space. Max's high energy levels were taken care of with lots of walks, play, and affection. Fika even taught him to fetch during his stay! Was very grateful for all of the photos and updates too. We will absolutely come to Fika again and would highly recommend her to other dog owners."

"Adrian and MDN Pet Care were amazing. We have absolute confidence Teddy (Cavoodle) had an amazing time. MDN were great communicators, treated Teddy well, socialised and exercised her well, and offered great pictures, video's and progress updates whilst we were on the other side of the world. Everything was easy and it is evident Adrian and Martin have a passion for animals, especially dogs and this shows through in their care for other people's pets through their service. "Summer and Kierryn are really great with our frenchie, Fredzel. We are really concerned as Fredzel can be very anxious in new environment but Summer gave Fredzel a lot of attention and took him out for a lot of activities. We can see Fredzel had a very pleasant staycation. Regular updates are provided and Summer has been on point with all Fredzel’s treatment. They are very passionate and custom-tailored to fred’s special needs, such tear stains and eye drops. Definitely will recommend Summer for your pet sitting needs. "

"Angelise provided a safe, secure and caring environment for our beautiful Kelpie Ella who can be a little nervy.
It was clear that Ella had a great time judging by the fun photos Angelise sent me during the stay as well as Ella’s calm demeanour when I picked her up.
