Hello! Welcome to Pawshake! My name is Nethmi and I’m 18 years old. I am a citizen of Sri Lanka and recently moved here to Australia recently. I live in Camphill suburb, Queensland and is undertaking my studies as a veterinary student at the University of Queensland starting in 2024 February. I provide my customers the best services in pet sitting at their own house (24 hours, 1/2 visits) and offer pet boarding (24 hour supervision) as well. I am flexible with my customers time preferences for my services. My house is fully secured and is protected my fences and gates and also is known as a safe neighbourhood. I provide dog walking services (10-60 minutes) as well as ensuring pet transport such as picking up and dropping. I am able to board upto 4 pets at the same time. I offer upto 4 dog walks per day. I confirm that I have lived my entire life surrounded by animals which are not limited to dogs and cats and seem to honestly make more meaningful bonds than I make with people. For my work experience, I have experience working at a veterinary hospital for a year and gained much knowledge regarding treatments and handling emergencies if required. I have experience on treatment and is educated on the correct medication if not present by a doctor (I can only proceed with legal treatments to do without professional supervision) . At our place, your furbabies will feel right at home! Our fully fenced large backyard (for play) includes a cozy semi-outdoor deck, and indoor area (for sleep). Your dog or cat will have a blast with us. We are happy to take doggies out for walk at least once a day, Please bring your fur babies medication (If needed). We are happy to assist since i am a nurse. We enjoy spending quality time with furry friends and have a variety of dog puzzles and cat toys, along with treats to keep them entertained.

I have worked at Mad Dogs for nearly 2 years here in Brisbane! Here I would carry my duties if a Professional dog walking providing safe reliable transport to and from the dog parks. Responsible for providing a safe environment for groups of 4 for all the dogs to play, socialise and relax through interaction and stimulation. Continually monitor behaviour by understanding the dogs body language. Develop and maintain excellence customer service with all clients, build bonds with each dog, follow safety procedures + professional dog photography.
I have also had the pleasure of working for Paws Darwin here My duties include Assistance of care for several rescue animals, feeding, cleaning, redesigning pet rooms, construction of large outdoor cages, assistance in vets operating room etc. During my time with the shelter, I worked dedicatedly and efficiently to ensure a high standard of care for all of the animals, who were awaiting foster care or adoption. My primary responsibilities included cleaning the cages of the animals and personally walking and handling those with challenging behaviours. I felt a real sense of reward when I saw changes in these dogs and their characteristics, largely down to my influence. I was also involved in a large scale reconstruction of the outdoor shelter, building large play areas and assembling spacious cages to improve the housing of the animals.
I have also lived and worked at animal sanctuaries and shelters during my time in Australia, and have massive empathy for any animals not just doggies! I am clean, tidy and respectful to any wishes of the dog owner. happy to help &amp; have the animal company! 
I can also provide a resume and police check for your security. I would need to sit for the dogs at your home as I am currently residing in a shared property. During a house sit/over night stays my primary focus is too care and keep your pups company. So i will be present for the remainder of the time specified by the client unless i need to nip out for Erins. 
Services for house visits include feeding, keeping your dogs hydrated and of course cuddles! Times vary depending on your requests. 
Services for a over night stay can include walks, feeds and medication if required. Times vary on your personalised requests.

I am available for home visits Wed - Sun between 30mins - 60min which includes feeding, cuddling &amp; playing with your pet/s. I can also water plants, bring in the mail &amp; bins. My availability is flexible.

I started this service because I would like a low-cost place to send my two cats throughout the day where they have constant supervision, love and affection. If your cat loves company and enjoys the company of other cats throughout the day, then this will be perfect for you. I'm home all day so it would be perfect if your cat is lonely during the day and wants lots of love and cat companionship. We have built an outdoor catio which our cats can safely enter or exit at their leisure, we have multiple climbing towers, boxes, scratches and play toys.&nbsp;
We have Bengals that require a lot of excitement and entertainment throughout the day, so your cat wont be bored! Our two boys require a lot of attention. Our boys are fully vaccinated and wormed and are both under 3 years old.
We have never had an issue where our cats haven't gotten along with another cat. However, if this was to happen, we have the ability to cordon off rooms so your cat won't be uncomfortable, however, you may need to find an alternative sitter with pets that your cat gets along with. Because I'm home all day, I also have the ability to provide your cat with special dietary requirements, medication, or anything else that your cat requires throughout the day. I'm a huge animal lover and would love to have you over to see our place and meet our cats before you make any decisions.
