Hey, my name is April&nbsp;
I moved to Sydney at the beginning of 2020 from my home town in noosa. my favourite part of sydney has been the weather ️ I absolutely love living here.
I spend my free time gaming, I enjoy going for walks but prefer to do more indoor activities, I also do a lot of art and puzzles as well.
Ive lived with animals my whole life. My family has always had dogs  so I'm quite comfortable around all animals. I don't have any pets myself atm but I do live with a dog that belongs to my housemate. She is a very beautiful dog, lots of energy and always up for a belly rub and a pat.&nbsp;
I joined pawshake so that I can meet more animals and make sure they are taken care of properly while their family is on holiday. I have pet sit a few times for my friends while they have been away so I understand you miss your baby and want to make sure they are being looked after by someone who you can trust and is happy to give regular updates on them. 
I offer house visits, this will include, changing litter, feeding, watering plants 🪴, bringing in the mail, taking the bins out and bringing them in but most importantly sending time with your animals, belly rubs, playing with them and their toys.&nbsp;
I don't work from home so my availability varies depending on my work schedule during the week. 
Fun fact: I once saved a duckling by helping it to hatch as it could not open its shell on its own, I nursed it and it went to live with a wonderful family so it could grow up.

As a passionate and dedicated pet sitter, my motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, particularly cats. With a solid background in pet care, I have engaged in various roles, ranging from long-term stays to interactive cat visits for playtime and even one-day overnight stays. I am also able to water plants and bring in mail.&nbsp;
I have a flexible schedule and am available mornings, afternoons and evenings.  For overnight stays, I can stay for 24 hours to a few weeks. I also offer meet and greets with pet owners to ensure both parties are comfortable and the expectation for the pet sitting service is set clearly.&nbsp;
It's important to note that I am dedicated to providing services exclusively in the comfort of the cats' homes. I do not take pets to my own space, but rather, I happily go to their familiar environment. I have a 4 year old German Shepherd-Labrador mix female back at home who I adore so much and miss the most. I am an international student from India, and have been in Sydney for the last 6 months.&nbsp;I have been taking care of my pet since the last 4 years- which includes walking her twice a day, regular grooming, vet visits, administering medications, and staying updated on her vaccinations. I would love to help pet owners take care of their furry mates as I know they are a part of the family, and leaving your family behind is never easy.I am available most days of the week and I can be flexible with the timings as well.
