"Lorraine did an excellent job looking after my cat Kevin while I was away. It was my first time using a cat sitter, so I was a bit unsure at first, but Lorraine made the whole experience very easy and reassuring. She sent several photos every day, which really helped put my mind at ease and showed how well Kevin was being cared for. Kevin was relaxed and happy when I got home, which says a lot. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Lorraine again and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter."

"Kate has been amazing in taking care of my 10 year old hand raised galah (Budy), while I was away for 2 days. Kate had provided me with regular updates throughout the duration of her stay, which was comforting.
Budy is an anxious parrot and does not do well when I’m away, but I came home to him being calm and playful and not distressed at all! I would highly recommend Kate as a pet sitter for anyone looking for genuine care for their pets 🥰"

"Loes is definitely the best cat carer in Canberra! Using her knowledge and skills she met my shy and anxious cat, Belle, with a soft, gentle, reassuring and empathetic approach to build rapport, and within a short time had her feeling safe, comfortable and relaxed in her care. She provided Belle with all the care and attention she needed, including stimulation and enrichment to help counter the boredom and loneliness whilst I was away. She changed up her toys, set up different activities and environments using available resources, played with her, and even put on classical music for Belle during her visits to soothe her and provide additional stimulation.
The updates and pictures I received of Belle and her latest activities were welcome snapshots, that allowed me to stay connected, and showed the wonderful care she was receiving. It felt as though Loes cared as much about Belle as I do and I would definitely recommend her services. It is such a relief for me to know that she is available to look after Belle as I know she will make every effort to make her happy when I am away. "

"Kierra was an amazing pet sitter. She cared for all of our animals wonderfully for 2 whole weeks. Her communication and photos were great. She was so flexible and accommodating when we extended our trip and continued to care for our animals for 4 days longer than we planned. Then when we arrived home she had cleaned and tidied and left the house as if we had not even left. I look forward to leaving our animals in her wonderful care again! "

"After many years with the same Pawshake pet sitter who has now moved away, we contacted Jose for the first time to look after our two cats. Jose was happy to come over beforehand for a meet and greet and was unfazed by the somewhat complex feeding & litter arrangements - our cats need to be kept in separate parts of the house when we’re away as one is on a special diet. Jose was also more than happy to accommodate a last minute request to water some plants in the front garden. All around, a friendly and communicative Pawshake member who we will be happy to use again!"

"Joanna is the only pet sitter you will ever need.
We have had a couple of different pet sitters over the years and they were all fine, but nothing like Joanna. Joanna went above and beyond to take care of our many animals. Her twice daily reports, photos and how she described them showed that she was really spending time with my animals. Joanna not only fed my pets and kept their areas spotless, but she played with them and went the extra mile to look after them whilst we were gone. I am incredibly impressed with Joanna and we hope to be able to only use her for our pet sitting in the future.
