Hi, I’m Lydia An active retiree with decades of hands-on experience in the dog and puppy care industry, I now offer calm, personalised, one-on-one care for dogs (and cats) in my peaceful, pet-free home. I’ve raised animals from newborns to seniors, regularly care for my daughter’s dogs, and have a deep understanding of what pets need when you're away—routine, affection, safety, and the comforts of home. What makes my home the paw-fect retreat? - Sole focus on your pet — no other animals in my home means all the cuddles, company, and care are just for them - Fully enclosed backyard — safe, secure, and private for play or sunbathing - Indoors at night — pets are never left outside or alone for long - Homemade dog-friendly meals — if permitted, I’ll happily cook tasty, nutritious meals - Flexible drop-off/pick-up — because life doesn’t always stick to a schedule - Lap snuggles and Netflix evenings — just like home! Extra touches your pet will love: – Fresh air and friendly wildlife: kookaburras, lorikeets, and even our resident backyard turkey often make an appearance – Clean environment: ideal for keeping pets tidy and comfortable – Gentle, experienced care for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs – Support from my daughter, a qualified dog trainer, who often lends a hand with tips and enrichment Whether your dog is playful or prefers a quiet corner and a cuddle, I adapt to their unique personality and needs. With me, they’ll be treated like family—because that’s what they are. Availability: ✔️ Long & short-term stays ✔️ Weekend/weekday care ✔️ Dogs/Cats/Small animals also welcome Let your pet enjoy a relaxing holiday while you enjoy yours. We cannot wait to welcome them!
