Hi, I’m Casper, originally from Norway where I grew up surrounded by dogs. My father is an avid hiker and hunter, so from a young age I’ve been on mountain hikes and hunting trips with our well-trained dogs. This taught me the importance of clear communication, patience, and building trust with dogs in all environments.

My typical day with dogs includes morning walks, playtime in the backyard or local parks, feeding according to your schedule, and evening walks. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs are never alone for extended periods. I provide regular photo updates and maintain open communication throughout their stay.

I adapt my approach to each dog’s temperament. High-energy dogs get extra exercise and mental stimulation through play and training games, while anxious or shy dogs receive patient, calm reassurance and a predictable routine. I read body language carefully and respect boundaries, never forcing interaction.

In emergencies, I remain calm and act quickly. I know the location of the nearest 24-hour vet clinic, keep your vet contact details accessible, and can transport dogs safely in my vehicle if needed. I’m trained in recognizing signs of distress, injury, or illness and will contact you immediately while taking appropriate action.

During walks, dogs are always on leash unless in designated off-leash areas where I’ve confirmed they have reliable recall. I’m vigilant about traffic, other dogs, and potential hazards. In off-leash parks, I maintain close supervision and intervene if play becomes too rough or if the dog shows signs of stress.

I live in a calm, spacious house in Brunswick West with multiple rooms and a large backyard. The backyard is fully secured with locked gates and fencing around the perimeter, making it safe for dogs to play and explore off-leash. During overnight stays, I ensure all external doors remain locked, and dogs sleep indoors with access to comfortable beds in climate-controlled rooms. The backyard provides a secure space for toilet breaks and play, while indoor areas offer cozy resting spots away from any outdoor elements.
