Pets aren't just animals; they’re family. I understand how hard it feels to leave them alone and that it's never our first choice, especially when we know how much unconditional love they have for us. I've had two small dogs for 16 and 15 years each, and have lived with cats in house-sharing homes. I miss having their company. Although I am not currently able to commit to having a pet long-term, I hope to be here to care for your dearest home-buddy(ies) when you need someone to love them in your absence. 

I also know how much peace of mind it brings to travel knowing your best friend is in a safe, loving environment. It is so rewarding to earn the trust of a dog or a cat, and yours too. I do this because I genuinely enjoy the unique personalities of every animal I meet, and I strive to be the person they look forward to seeing every day, whenever you are away. 

I understand that pets have habits and/or feeding schedules that matter to you and their health. I'm here to listen to those requests, and to provide the personalised attention every pet deserves. Whether it’s a long hike or a quiet evening of ear scratches, I’m dedicated to keeping your pet’s tail wagging or purring until you return. I look forward to meeting you and your pet family! 

Please note: I have the most experience with dogs and cats compared to other animals, although I do love them all and am open to care for other species with the right instructions. I also have less experience with very strong (e.g. Rottweiler), tireless large dogs (e.g. untrained border collie) or strong snappy dogs. 

For daycare/overnighters: I live in a lovely tiny house + covered balcony, on a fenceless property, so your dog/cat would be on leash when outside. This may be worth considering if your animal needs a lot of indoor space (e.g. large dogs). I have comfortably dogsitted small dogs in the space. :)
