Hello hello! This is Ying and I just moved to Melbourne from California with my husband and our cats this year! I'm based in South East Melbourne. 

I'm naturally an empthatic person and love animals. Our two beautiful kitties turned 6 years old this year. Their names are Xiao Hei and Xiao Hua. We adopted them from our local anmial shelter back in 2019 when they were only 8 weeks old. Since then, they have been a big part of my life and I feel blessed to have raised them from rescued kittens to healthy adults. I have also volunteered at the local animal shelter to bottle feed young kittens and socialize with adult cats to prepare them for adoption. 

Our cats are both very shy, so I learned to read their behaviors, subtle cues, and be attentive to their emotions and needs. Over the years, I noticed that cats and dogs are attracted to me, and whenever we met on the streets, they always wanted to get close and say hi:) - I see that as a privilage to be loved by animals. I adore our cats, so I can sympathize with cat parents the difficulty of being away from your fur babies. I had a great experience with our cat sitter when we were out on a trip just a year ago. So I wanted to provide the same comfort to all cat parents in need. 

I will be a reliable care giver for your cats so their routines are not interruped and you return home with happy kitties! Because our cats are shy, so I'm very comfortbale with shy kitties and know how to make them feel less anxious. I'm generally available during the week and can work with you on a schedule that accommodates your cats' routine. If you'd like me to spend more time with your cats, my one-time visit can be 40 minutes with no extra fee. I am also happy to take care of small animals like rabbits, turtles, roddents, etc. and I can help you water plants and fetch mails as needed.

A meet-and-greet is preferred so that I can ask questions about your cats' personality, behaviors, dietary requirements, medical needs, etc. If you have an instruction ready to share, that would be fantastic!
