Hi, I’m Carol! I grew up surrounded by animals, dogs, cats, even two horses and chickens at home. Caring for animals has always been part of my life, and over the years I’ve looked after pets for friends and family many times, including dogs, cats, a rabbit, and even a parrot. As a psychologist and somatic therapist, I bring a calm, patient presence to every interaction, useful for nervous, reactive, or easily overstimulated animals. I read body language closely and adjust my approach so pets feel safe and settled, not just supervised. Here’s what I offer: At my place: Dog Boarding – overnight stays in a calm, cosy environment, with a steady routine around feeding and rest Doggy Day Care – daytime care with full attention and enrichment House Sitting – rather than staying at your home, I prefer to host your pet at mine while you’re away, keeping their routine steady in a calm, familiar space At your place: Daily home visit – I stop by to feed, play, and check in Dog Walking – a steady, calm-paced 30-minute walk, adjusted to your dog’s energy and comfort level I live in a tiny house with two balconies, a quiet, relaxed space. I don’t have pets of my own right now, so yours gets my undivided attention. I welcome dogs, cats, and small pets, with no breed or age restrictions. I know trusting someone with your pet matters, so I keep you updated with photos and messages the whole time.
