About Me

Hi, I’m Nick! I’ve been a Melbourne local for 16 years—the last decade in the Inner North—and I’m a lifelong animal lover. While my current life as an Architecture student and Project Manager for the State Government doesn't allow for a full-time pet of my own, pet-sitting is the perfect way for me to share my home and time with furry friends. When I’m not working, I’m usually drawing, reading, or hitting the local parks for long walks. 

Experience & Specialized Care 

I have over 16 years of experience caring for pets, including 9 years of professional sitting and annual fostering for rescue dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and species, including cats and birds. My experience includes: 

• All Stay Lengths: From quick walking visits and overnight stays to long-term care (4–6 months). 
• Large & High-Energy Breeds: I am experienced with Dobermans, Giant Schnauzers, and high-energy GSPs. 
• Specialized Needs: I am confident administering medication, maintaining strict training routines, and supporting pets with separation anxiety or challenging behaviors. 

My Routine & Lifestyle 

Because I work and study from home, I offer high flexibility throughout the week and weekends. This is ideal for pets that require constant companionship, frequent "bio-breaks," or extra attention throughout the day. Your pet won't just be "staying" with me; they’ll be my office companion and walking partner. 

Home & Location 

I live in a very secure apartment building with intercoms and digital locks. 

• The Backyard: We have a large communal garden, and I am located directly across from Carlton Gardens and minutes from the local dog park. 
• Constant Company: For day visits, your pet will not be left unattended, for longer stays your pet may be left up to 1 or 2 hours. If you need a pet sit with total attendance, please contact me to arrange.  
• Flexibility: I am equally happy to sit in your home if your pet prefers their own space.
