About me Hi, I’m Heidi! 🐾 I’m 36 years old and originally from England. I currently work in Primary School Education and am also a Head Gymnastics Coach. I’ve always loved animals and, from a young age, I persuaded my parents to let me have Russian hamsters and guinea pigs! My friends know me as the ‘one who loves hedgehogs’ after I decided to get a pet pygmy hedgehog at 25. 🦔 Growing up, I sponsored dogs at my local dog rehoming centre and have also volunteered as a dog walker and kennel attendant. I’ve had the pleasure of being a companion to some ‘Golden Oldies’ too, spending time with dogs in their later years and giving them some extra love and company. 💕 I’m a very active person and genuinely love being outdoors, walking and keeping fit, so having a four-legged walking companion is right up my alley! Whether your dog enjoys a leisurely stroll or a longer, more energetic walk, I’d love to get out and about with them. 🐕‍🦺🌿 I currently live with two older ladies — an energetic Jack Russell and a sassy, long-haired domestic cross Turkish Van cat! I regularly care for them when their owners are away, so I’m very comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, needs and routines. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, keeping them company or, of course, lots of cuddles! I understand how important it is to know that your furry family members are safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away.
