Hello! I'm Grace and I'm 28 years old and from Ireland. I have recently just moved back to Sydney after living here 8 years ago so very excited to be back! I'm currently based in Maroubra and offering dog walking, home visits, and house sitting across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

I've always loved animals (dogs & horses especially) and always had family dogs growing up - all sizes from big, goofy, loving golden retrievers to smaller cuties like cavalier king charles and various terriers/mixed breeds. Just before leaving home I spent so much time with my dad's two cavapoo puppies and I am missing them like crazy, so really needing to get my dog fix. I volunteered with rescue dogs at a shelter in Dublin over the last few years, and volunteered with rescue dogs and puppies in a shelter in Ubud, Bali back in March. I have experience dealing with dogs from many different backgrounds/with different behavioural issues and am really patient in this sense. 

I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that's going for long beach/coastal walks, keeping energetic dogs company & a run around (I'm very active myself), or giving quieter pets calm and attentive care at home.

As I currently have a very flexible schedule, I'm able to give pets plenty of time, attention, and company throughout the day. During house sits, I try not to leave pets alone for long periods and can usually work around their normal routine. I'm also very active, so I'm happy to provide longer walks for high-energy dogs, including beach walks, park walks, hillier hikes or multiple walks per day if needed.

I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone trustworthy and reliable, so I always aim to keep owners updated with messages and photos while they're away. I'm respectful of people's homes, attentive to routines and happy to adapt to your pet's individual needs, personality, feeding schedules and exercise requirements.

Your pet's safety and comfort are my priority. In case of any concerns or emergencies, I would contact you immediately and follow any instructions you've provided, while also seeking veterinary care if necessary.

As I can't host pets in my current accommodation, I currently offer walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting in your home.
