In 2021, our life was turned up-side-down after we said goodbye to our beloved Border Collie mix, Mia, following 15 wonderful years together. To bring joy (and a little furrry chaos) back into our days, my partner and I spent 18 months travelling the world as full-time pet and house sitters — including caring for two mischievous Spanish gatos in Madrid! Now settled on the North Shore, we feel incredibly lucky to call beautiful Aotearoa our home. We even welcomed a puppy (a tri-colour Border Collie) into our whānau who will be turning 1 in November!
