Hello there! My name is Anahi (uh-n-aa-EE) and I am 36 yo artist-architect that loves dogs! 

🎨🏛ABOUT ME

I am originally from Basque Country, Spain but I’ve been living in Sydney for more than 5 years now. I am a very sporty person, I run, hike, dance swing and cycling is my transport. I have a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. I love nature and I'm obsessed with dogs! I am usually the kind of person who greets dogs before humans, I connect with them instantly. I have recently done a police check.

👩‍🎨♥️🐶MY EXPERIENCE

I had dogs since I was a child, after asking my parents non stop back then. I have more than 20 years of experience looking after dogs. I have taken care of different types of breeds from all walks of life: adopted dogs with traumas, dogs with separation anxiety, blind dogs, deaf dogs, puppies, seniors, tiny and large dogs.

My dog passed away with almost 18 yo. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to have a dog again at the moment, so looking forward to taking care of yours! 

♥️🐶CARING

I am a freelancer and I work mainly from home, I am flexible and can organise my work hours, your dog won't be left home alone. My partner Josh works from home too. I take poochies with me 24h, every dog have their own personality and although at their home might be ok, in a home they don't know can stress them out. If I need to go to the supermarket or somewhere else that dogs are not allowed, my partner that works from home, can mind them, he loves dogs too! 

We make plans around dogs, and adapt to them so they are included. They won’t be left alone home. We’ve taken them with us to camper van adventures (with owners consent), beaches, open air cinemas, street festivals, outdoor dining restaurants, cafes, Bunnings, in Spain I take them mountain hiking. If the doggos are fit, we take them for a run with us. 

We will give them whole heap of cuddles and plenty of playtime.

I walk them at least 3 times a day, usually morning, lunch time and evening. Times can be adapted depending of your doggo's routine.

I will send you updates and lots of photos so you can see that your best friend is happy and well taken care of. 

I am a very sporty person and love giving them the exercise they need. 

I will of course feed them as per your instructions, and give them provided treats followed with basic training.

🏠🌱OUR HOME

Dogs are allowed everywhere in our home, including our sofa and bed. Our building is surrounded by green areas. Roads surrounding our building are pretty much for local access with very little traffic. I live in a non smoking, covid vaxxed, open minded, lgbtqia+ friendly 2 bed apartment with my partner, a loving, safe and clean place for your pet to stay. 

We have a generous balcony secured with mosquito /security sliding doors, which are always kept closed (to prevent mosquitoes getting in) Dogs haven't been interested in our balcony so far, as they want to be close from us. Our building has a generous rooftop terrace with plants and sunset views.

Our apartment is decorated with mid century restored furniture, if you think your dog might chew our furniture please let us know. At our home, we only accept toilet trained (excepting of course puppies) small-medium size dogs. 

I would also consider minding your large dog at your home. Rates for this are higher as is less convenient for me. I am a strong woman and can definitely walk your large dog too :)

• up to 8 hours at pet sitter's home

• Includes at least 2 walks and of course a lot of play/cuddles time.

• I take them with me everywhere, they are not left home alone.

• You will receive lots of photos with updates.

• Additional fees apply for extended hours

🏠 🐶HOUSE VISITS: 

• 30 minutes (that can be discussed and extended)

• I will pop by on the agreed time for a check-in, feed, water top-up and cuddles.

• Includes locations within a 3km radius, additional fees apply for further locations.

• I love plants and I will gladly water them if requested.

• I will cycle to you, you will be supporting a sustainable booking.

🐾 DOG WALKS: 

• 45 minutes, I will take your best friend to the closest park and give him/her the exercise he/she needs. 

• Includes locations within a 3km radius, additional fees apply for further locations.

• I will cycle to you, you will be supporting a sustainable booking.

• I love plants and I will gladly water them if requested.

• My partner and I will look after your poochie.

• Includes locations within a 5km radius, additional fees apply for further locations.

WHAT TO BRING

• His/her food and treats (only if you usually give her/him).

• His/her bed.

• Poo bags.

• Some of his/her favourite toys.

For long stays:

• His/her shampoo

• Vet details in case of emergency (I've never had an incident, but I like being prepared just in case).

• A family member's or friend's contact details, just in case.

Please let me know if they have any food allergies. I sometimes give them carrots as snacks.
