Hi! I’m Simon, a genuine dog lover who would love the opportunity to look after your furry friend while you’re away.

I grew up with my dog Olly, who was part of our family for 15 years, so dogs have always been a big part of my life. Since moving away from home, I’ve also regularly looked after my family’s pets and house sat for them while they’ve been on holiday. Making a Pawshake profile therefore felt like a natural next step.

I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone you trust, and I’d treat your dog as if they were my own. I’m friendly, reliable and patient, and I’ll always take the time to understand your dog’s personality, routine and individual needs.

🐕 Dog Walking

I offer 90-minute walks, giving your dog plenty of time to get exercise, explore and have a good sniff around rather than feeling rushed. I’m happy to follow your usual walking routine and adjust the pace and distance depending on your dog’s age, energy levels and needs.

🏡 Boarding at my home

I have a fully fenced yard, giving dogs a secure space to get outside for toilet breaks and some fresh air throughout the day. I’ll always make sure gates and access points are secure before letting a dog into the yard.

For boarding stays, I like to keep a simple routine with regular toilet breaks, walks, meals and plenty of attention and downtime. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide.

I don’t want dogs spending their whole stay alone. I work Monday–Friday from 6:30am–2:30pm, so during weekdays I would be away for work during those hours. Outside of work, I’m home and available to provide care, walks, company and supervision. Weekends give me much more flexibility and I can spend the majority of the day with your dog.

For boarding, I’m happy to discuss your dog’s individual supervision needs before accepting a booking. I’ll only take dogs that I’m confident I can safely and responsibly care for alongside my work schedule.
